Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I do have prima facie evidence of the solution to this paradox. I believe I will hold on to the answer for the moment to discern the members choices and attitudes to this riddle!

He states right in his profile that he only exists here.
Given that information, it would seem logical that ground zero is here on Fauna. From there, it only took a couple of minutes and the clue made sense.

I just logged in as Shrillomn a minute ago.

I have no desire to ASSume his identity here, but it was a little fun solving the clue.

Anybody else figure it out?

Man did not cause "global warming",he just greatly accelerated the process.
There has always been global warming,with the industrial age in the early 1900's man kind and the machines they made ,became the number one proponent in the drastically marked rise of c02 gasses in the atmosphere.

I just closed that account by changing the password and the email address to it. Although I do believe I know who the real owner is, I doubt I will ever be contacted to turn it back over to the rightful owner.

Not that it matters, but I like puzzles. Rich's post seems to indicate that Jim Williams did NOT log into Shrilly's account.

C'mon, Jim, enlighten us.
 
The clue was not that complicated.

From ground zero begins the author.
He moves south past The line to find his prize.

If you consider that Shrillomn's profile stated that he only existed here, one could conclude that ground zero is here on Fauna.

The obvious place on Fauna (a message board) for ground zero would be the first post. If you go to the archives and pull up the first post - starting from the author you go down (South) past the first line. The capitalization of "The" in the clue seemed odd, but it actually indicated a line in the post that began with "The".

The clue states to go past "The" line. the next line states: Great Snake

That was the password to the Shrillomn account.

Of course now, based on Webslave's previous comment, I will likely be considered by some to be Shrillomn. I assure you that this is not the case.
I simply enjoy solving puzzles.
