    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

The real thing. Sicilian Pond Turtles --> Emys orbicularis trinacris​

Here is one of the gorgeous pairs of adult Sicilian Pond turtles. Not your average European pond turtles. The color and striping just pops on the shell and on their face & neck. Males have a darker snout and are smaller in size with a slight concave plastron. Along with a slightly wide tail. Whereas females are larger and feature a flat plastron and lighter & face. This female is definitely mature. These are adults and males are active. A heavily planted pond or tub is encouraged.​

They are feasting on everything from Mazuri tortoise pellets to vegetation to fresh/frozen fish, aka sushi, with great enthusiasm.​
