• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

There are times where I have "extra" silkworms that I would like to send to those making rescue efforts in the reptile industry.

I know how feeding costs can make doing rescue a very expensive proposition.

I have silkworms, however, I do not have a list of trusted people doing rescues.

I'd like to gather some recommendations or nominations. If you know someone or, if you are someone doing reptile rescues, I'd like to add you to my list.

Here's what I need:
The name of your rescue -
If you are certified Not for profit - Answering this honestly won't hurt you. I want to help people for their efforts, not their status. I WILL have to be able to answer this question in April 06 -
Your shipping information -
A quick Bio of your group/operation -

Thanks in advance,

Joe Danyi

Thank you for the recommendation , Tara.

Mid-Michigan Reptile Rescue will be next weeks donation beneficiary.

If anyone would like to purchase an order of silkworms to be donated, go to our website www.silkwormfarm.com and enter your order. In the customer notes, please note that you would like to send the order to Mid-Michigan Animal Rescue and we will send your donation along with ours.

Thanks,

I am part of a, well it isn't exactly nationwide yet, but we have a couple of chapters located through out the East Coast and we help out a bunch of smaller rescues as well. The chapters are always in need of a boast of food and we gladly accept any donations. The main base is in PA but we have chapters in NC, SC and in Florida.

We do not have our 501c3 yet but we are in the process of getting it.

We focus not only on saving the lives of reptiles and placing them in loving, forever homes, but we strive to educate the community about proper reptile care and housing in hopes that it will raise the awareness and help people make wise choices in their reptile picks, then we will hopfully have less abandonment.

All the chapters are individually ran and they all have different needs.

If you would like more information please contact me at [email protected]

Thank You,
Mandy

Hi, I am not certified, but i do rescues, specifically of lizards. I would welcome the supply of feeders, as I am pretty small, and do still incure expense. However I understand if you consider a certified reptile rescue first. Please respond if I would be someone that you may consider. Thanks!

Please send me your contact information and shipping address.
If you have a website, please direct me to it.

Thanks,
Joe
