    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

OK it has been too long since I did a poll, here is one about stuff most of us do not do often but we all know that occasionally, we love these kinds of luxuries.....

And as much as I hate to say it. I would adore the chance to spend the entire day in bed without the guilt associated with wasting so much time.
 
A luxury for me is a good night sleep. It's kinda boring, but I don't do much sleeping with a kid and a fiance who works late. My daughter doesn't fall asleep until 11pm on average, then I spend time with my guy, then my daughter wakes up at day break. Godiva chocolate would be awesome too. Did you know they have godiva liqueur?
 
What would I choose ?

I had to go with a day in bed.........Never seem to get enough sleep.
Satin sheets and coforter........might as well be comfy.
A shopping spree...........but I would not go to a mall.
My shopping spree would be at a major snake show.
Those would by my luxuries.
 
I would go with other too. I just purchased new sheets for our master bedroom and went with 1000 thread count sheets/pillows along with 2 stacked feather beds. I must say, I have never slept better! I will take that anyday over a trip. A good nights sleep is a rare commodity these days and it was money well spent!

My vote was for a whole day in bed and other lol

Since Ive stayed home since before Cody was born, Ive gotten used to missing alot of things that used to matter to me but with my lack of sleep issues, a full day in bed would be such a sweet thing to have.

As my Other Id like to be able to take my children to the beach this summer for the weekend and let them have a blast and me be able to enjoy it too instead of being freaked about every little thing that could go wrong, from sun burns, ear aches, tummy aches, to sharks lol But I am just the one that worries about everything that could go wrong and I am more relieved at home than anywhere else.

well some godiva chocolates have liqueur in them, no? so wouldnt that be considered godiva liqueur? :hehe: or are you talking bout something completely different.

A truly good day would be to have perfect weather and spend most of the day riding my motorcycle, nowhere to go, just ride the twisties through the mountains, blistering the tires.
Then come home, jump on the dirt bike and go climb those mountains.
Piddle around the house, letting my beagle play the afternnon away in the sunrays, see him smile, having a good time.
After this, go out for a true Chinese meal with lots of seafood.

I think you are very wise; with a bit of planning and thought, one can have wonderful days and truly enjoy one's world. A day of luxury does not necessarily mean a lot of expense, it can just be a determination to set aside time for the things that truly bring joy into one's life.
 
Luxury is sleeping in with my dog, then getting up to a full breakfast, then going to the dog park for a picnic with my dog, then going to a reptile show and getting the biggest highest contrast ball python female they had (LOL you knew someone would put something like that down). :dgrin:

these polls mostly put up by females on here and it seems that I'm voting for almost all the same thing of polls as most of you females are. Have i been without female companionship or lonely so long that I am now wondering if my lost or evolved female hormones are kicking in ? LOL ! I make from scratch a very mean lemon cake..........

Relax, you're all man, I do not think luxury is gender based, lol.

Next week we are taking an entire week of luxury.

We are taking Katfische to the very northwest corner of Washington state for a picnic and a day in the bright sunshine. Maybe stay the night on the beach.

We are also headed to Seattle for a couple days and KatFische is coming along. I found some folks that breed beagles there and we may come home with a playmate for him.

Every aspect of our lives is planned to include and focus on the KatFische, so really it is his luxury-- we just share in it.
 
We are going Saturday morning.

I named him KatFische because he has eyes nearly indentical to catfish eyes. The spelling is just a play on words and spellings.

The beagle I had before him was named Kidty.
