    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Has anyone successfully bred a pair of boas where the male was longer than the female? I have a male in with a female, he is probably a good foot or more longer than she is. He keeps on trying but just does not seem to be able to find the reproductive zone. He successfully bred a female last year that was about his same size, so I know that he is ready, willing, and able. On this shorter female, his tail is not resting high enough on her to be able to line up cloacas. His cloaca seems to be lining up more with the very tip of her tail. I really want him to successfully breed her because he is het pewter and she is poss het blood, so if she takes and has a normal sized litter, this could prove her out. So I am wondering if I should maybe paint him a bullseye on the female to help a brother out!!!LOL

put some hair around the hole. :rofl:

Seriously though, seems to me he'll pull it off, just needs to get things right. Think he may just be courting her for now? I just can't see that little of a size difference making an impact on the actual breeding.

Could be wrong though. :shrug01:

I do not think he is just courting her cause he is s shaping on top of her and he is lifting the tip of his tail and trying to slide his cloaca under her. She is looking a little thicker so maybe he has gotten the job done when I wasn't there to see it. "Yea the waiting is the hardest part".

No one else have any experience with a longer male boa breeding a shorter female boa???
