    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Skinny baby ball - advice needed

Glad to hear you got something in his tummy! It seems it usually only takes once or twice with the assist feeding, and they take off eating on their own. If they don't, well....there's usually a reason for it. I guess that's why I've never been an advocate of tube feeding. But I'm guessing your guy will do just fine now that you've got some nutrition in him though. :)

Just though I'd give you guys an update on him now that he's eating.

After assist feeding fuzzy mice 6 times, he's eaten two live fuzzies and just finished swallowing his first FT hopper. It took about 10 minutes of wiggling the poor mouse in front of his face before he actually took the first live mouse (he ignored any mouse that was just left in the sweater box with him), and the FT hopper he just ate took about 2 minutes of wiggling, but at least he's eating on his own now. He's 64 grams (was 37 before), and though he could still use a little more weight, he's starting to fill out and actually look like a healthy baby ball python.
