In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hey all i was just wonderingif anyone knew of a person with the email addy [email protected]? I recieved a pretty pathetic email from him/her last night...and was just curious to know if it was another one of those "kids" playing on mommy and daddy's computer causing trouble.

IT makes me feel pretty good when i get hundreds or even thousands of emails from customers and repeat customers thanking me or complimenting me on my animals in my collection.....and then i get the one unsigned email saying i am a rippoff selling the "infamous normal" animal at high dollar prices........dont ya just love it..

ahh....needed to vent and find oput if anyone knows of this person..

Thanks..

GOT BALLS?

I must admit that this is a disturbing, and VERY unethical, trend. I know someone who works in a place that deals strictly with herps, amphibs and inverts. This person (which shall remain nameless) has admitted to me that they constantly put 'new' names on ball pythons as a 'morph' just to charge more money. How ridiculous is that?!

My opinion is that nature got it right the first time. If you can't love your normal because everyone isn't ooohing and aaahing over it as much as they would a genetic freak of nature, then you don't need to have ANY, period! Why do people feel they need to Keep Up With The Jones'? But as I said, that's only my opinion. If you think about it, it's really sad. All the morphs are getting attention and the cute lil normals are thrown to the waste side because they aren't 'special'. They all deserve love, respect and the best care possible in captivity. What do you really care for more, the animal or the MONEY???

C'mon!! Most people make fun of Michael Jackson and he's a morph. Where's the love there???

Slander =  Oral, Auditory

Libel = Written

I know the two terms are very similar in meaning but a lot of people throw the term "Slander" around about comments on this board or sent through e-mail. Unless the computer talks to you, they're libelous, not slanderous... Which is generally a bit more serious anyway...

Not an enormous issue when used in casual discussion but those people who claim to have talked to lawyers about prosecution would not use the term Slander, they would use Libel since the lawyer would know the difference at least...

Not the case with the original poster here but it bears mentioning.

And see? I stayed out of the entire ball python morph discussion. I had to punch several holes in my wall when I looked at the ad that the anonymous poster linked me to, but I've managed to stifle the written rage anyway.

thousands of emails thanking you?
thousands? wow..thats a big number thousands..
i cant imagine sitting and reading thouands of thank you cards
geesh.
when you do have time to work on the car jared?

Kim, I'm sorry, as I'm sure the feeling for you isn't mutual but you're funny as all get out! I really like your posts even if you're talking bad about me.

Lurker, if it wasn't for you're nameless post I'd have good things to say about you. As things sit though, you seem iffy so let's hope you come back and show us you're a man of your convictions and not a child with some extra time while you're parents are out to dinner.

As for the balls, I can only say one thing. I have one pair I work with that took me 3 months to find (Thanks to Bob Clark). I found, clown, ghost, black back, striped, motley, poss. het for everything, crazy, busy, high yellow, white, black and just about everything else.

However the hardest to find rare normal morph was extremely elusive! So much in fact I started thinking they'd stopped being bred. Instead I found many of those ugly balls I'd seen at shows for years being sold by greedy people as everything but what they were.

Jared, please save a little face here and post 1% of the 1000s of positive emails you've gotten!

The much followed and loved,
Adam Block
