    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Im not a regular Poster but i figured if i had something to say, the best place to say it would be somewhere where similiar thoughts/feelings can be exchanged or debated. I DOnt know if this topic has already been brought up, but if its has i am sorry for bringing it up, and if not then its about time it was. As a herper im only 18 or was 16 when i began to collect and submerge mysellf in this particular species of the ANimal Kingdom. I worked my butt of to buy herps that cost me my arm and legs. The purpose of this thread is to find out how others agree on the sudden drop in our animals value. I will put an example. I worked very hard for 5 months to put togther 2000 ofr my male pastel. THen 6 months later Pastels at the 800G became available for 500 shipped! I find this ridicolous and in fully blame Python entrepreneurs not enthusiasts. I hate this for the sole reason that they invest thousands in projects, overload on stock, then to get rid of them, drop prices. Since they pretty much control the market they determine value. SO if they drop so does everyone else. I would like to recognize Bob Clark and Ralph Davis who are amoung the only ENthusiasts ti maintain thier Snakes values. Thoughout the months i have monitered their website to see the impact of this market drop and without a doubt these two breeders were not part of this mayhem. I despise this issue and becuase of it i pretty much think that the market has been hindered with this drastic change.

But hey i want to hear both critisim and opnion on how others feel toward this issue.

Cheers! :raspberry

Eh, check out the recent posts about MKR (Morph King Reptiles) and you will see this has been a very highly discussed topic lately.....as well as a rather controversial one. You may get some different light shed on Bob and Ralph as well.

A rules a rule.

You need to have your name in full on your posts or in your profile .
Other wise the powers that be,can and will delete your post. :>poke2<:

ONLY if he post in the BOI. ;)

As for the market..........Is it bad to lower a price to try and get some animals sold? I sold My albino Boas for $500-600, and got a couple nasty grams about it. The thing is, I accomplished my mission. Not to try and hurt the so called market pricing, but to try and part with snakes I just did not need. They went fast too. I don't have to feed them for a year, which also benefits me.

I think people should be able to price their snakes at what they think they are worth high or low. If this hurts someones plans.......Well, the world is a tough place.

Not trying to be mean to you, but if you got into this with the hopes of some get rich quick ideas, you entered into the wrong trade to be honest with you. It takes years to plan it correctly. Takes years to get a reputation of producing quality animals. Until that reputation level is reached, people would be hesitant to purchase a morph from an unknown entity for a full price, when they can go to people like Bob Clark for the same price.

I would lower my hurtle if i was you, and raise it gradually, else you may just trip and fall, losing the race altogether. (figuratively speaking) Being young, if you go into it right, in 20 years you may be the next Bob Clark, for the next generation of young herpers coming around.

Just my $0.025
