Chameleon Cartel

I recently bought a male Nosy Be Panther Chameleon and a female leopard heck from Mile at Snakes at Sunset. I met Mike at the Repticon in West Palm last weekend. I went with my girlfriend and her son, planning to buy an Ambilobe. When we were there we only found one Ambilobe and it was from a reptile shop in Deerfield that we've been inside quote a few times. I have seen the way the house their chameleons in filthy class cages, so no chance in hell we've ever buy from them. The nigh before going I went online and checked all the vendors that would e a the show to see which ones would be bringing Panther Chameleons. I called Snakes at Sunset and they said they had a bunch of Panthers but wouldn't be taking them to the show. While we were at the show, I talked to Mike a total of probably 4 times just asking him questions. He told me that he was all out of Ambilobes but did have a couple really nice Nosy Bes. I had initially wanted a Nosy Be to begin with but my girlfriend had convinced me we should get an Ambilobe because they're prettier(I have leaned nt to argue with my girlfriend). Anyways, Mike was super friend and helpful, so was his girlfriend. He answered all my questions and was really upfront. While we were there my girlfriends son talked us into buying him a leopard gecko, so we bough one from Mike, whose prices and selection was better than anyone else at the show. We left the show and drove 1.5 hours down to Mikes shop in Miami. I hate driving in Miami, I always get lost but that's a different story. The shop was very clean, neat and didnt reek like a lot of reptile shops I've been to. The two teenagers that were working were polite, helpful and very knowledgable, especially considering how young they were. Before we even told the kid we were there to buy the chameleons we inspected that entire shop. All the cages and enclosures were clean. The animals all seemed healthy. Water dishes were filled. I want there expected to find SOMETHING wrong, but I couldn't. Great job!!! Honestly the neatest reptile store I've ever walked into. I got a great price on my chameleon. He's doing reallllllly well. We're gonna buy a female that's unrelated from Mike in the very near future and I'm sure we will buy more chameleons after that. I have nothing bad to say about my interactions with Mike at the show, the staff at the shop, or the store itself. All top of the line. Really glad I bought from him!!!
