    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Be very careful of Michael Libby. This person is stealing identies, and creating fraudulant paypal accounts. He sent an instant transfer via paypal which is now reversed as internet fraud according to paypal and i am looking at being burned for $1400 of an albino and het ball python. Make sure any paypal transactions are seller protection policy elligable and don't get stuck like i am at the moment. Anyone having information of this persons whereabouts, please let me know so i can go after him legally.
 
Allen, Michael Libby is a known scammer. He has perpetuated serious fraud before, and hopefully it won't be long until this person inhabits a small hidebox at the graybar hotel.

This is Anthony, I got the stuff from you yesterday, I too have been burnt but I got the money back, well most of it and he tried me on many other names as well right after that. Sorry to hear what happened and best of luck getting your money back!

I'm not too far from where this "man" lives.....if you need someone local to do some footwork for ya, feel free to contact me. He's still working Craigslist as well....I'd love to see someone put a stop to his antics.

There have been several sections of Craigslist where he is still working--not just the PETS section. I'm in MN, and just perusing the boards (In all cities, but mainly TC-metro and Duluth are where he dealings are) there are reports of people he is seriously scamming.

We know of three people who have been scammed with fradulent hockey tickets--(and you know how people get when the Wild are playing, if someone says they have ice box seats that they need to sell, theyre SOLD!!)
Several people have also said that they have received not only nasty emails from him when they won't place an animal with him, but also threats directed towards them and their property. Continual, on-going threats.

Is there someway to get him banned from CL? Mostly the PETS board in the metro area is comprised of rescue-oriented individuals who get flag happy when they see an obviously less than admirable post, but that proficient flagging seems not to be enough to make this individual go away. Can more be done about this? I am not aware of any IP banning through the CL site.
 
I didn't know he was all over the boards there......but I think it IS possible to get an IP ban there. I talked to one person about being threatened when they wouldn't place an animal with this person, but it was a different email address than what I have ever seen him use, so I wasn't sure if it was the same person....and it was a UofMN email. Hm. Interesting. Have you kept track of the email addresses he has been known to use there?

I've got his IP address from here, let me send some of this info to Craig and see if we can get anything done.
 
Does anyone know how i go about pursuing this further. Paypal said they would forward me information to prosecute the fraud but so far nothing has come over. Do i call the local law enforcement? How do i go about it? Any help would be great. you can e-mail directly if you have any info

Look through the threads already posted on this guy, there's plenty of good information to be found right there, and people that may very well be willing to help you. The only contact I had with him was through email, and it was only to inquire as to the availability of a snake that he posted on Craigslist, that I knew for a fact was already sold to someone else (to which he naturally agreed I was still available for me to buy). If I can help in any way, please ask.

I sent an email to Craigslist as well, offfering his IP address, etc and asking for their assistance. We'll see if I hear anything back.

Yup, I saw that today too Cat. Since he knows my e-mail I had a friend message him and was told the same. I know he DID have an albino, and MY male het albino that has brain damage. I am sure that is the male that goes with her.

WHY is he not in jail yet??? Many have called the Kimball police on him, and they never do anything about it.
