Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I just concluded a transaction with Snakes at Sunset for the stub tail ackie they had advertised in the monitor classifieds here on Fauna. I am very happy with the transaction. The lizard arrived healthy and alert, very good weight on it, and exactly as advertised. The lizard was also eating within two hours after being in its enclosure. Shipping was delayed by a day due to cold weather on my end, which was good because that shows me they care about the animal and the buyer!

I really only dealt with Quin, but Michael Barrera is the name on the Snakesatsunset account.

All in all, it was a pleasant transaction and I would personally buy from them again.

That is a beautiful monitor and I will also order from them again. I placed an order yesterday at almost 4 in the afternoon their time and my package was at the FedEx hub first thing this morning. I ordered 5 bufo guttatus and four Theloderma asperum. They were very well packaged and in great shape I brought them home put them in their enclosure and they started making their calls right away. The bufos already started locking up and I'm hoping to have some success with them I've been looking forward to working with these for a long time
