Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

snow, super snow

Snow is a line bred trait similar to Tangerines because everyone who breeds them has one goal, to make a more bold color(white, orange). The way people go about creating line bred traits is by breeding the geckos with the most bold colors (ie. the most tangerine male and the most tangerine female will most likely create the most tangerine baby possible).
Super Snows on the other hand are co-dominant which is more like patternless as far as acheving this morph but the only difference is that even the hets. carry some type of super snow appearance. Breed the hets. and you get a 1 in 4 possibilty in having a super snow.
 
Super snow and snow genetics are not related. They are two completely different morphs. There are the "regular" snows which are labeled as snows, and there are super snows which are labeled as super snows or Mack snows. Breeding a snow and a snow will get you a snow but its not guaranteed, just like if you breed a tangerine with a tangerine, you will not always get tangerine babies. The only way to create super snows is to either breed a super snow to a super snow, or to breed hets. together. This is why they are so expensive.

Turt, the snows that Jodi is talking about (at alexhuereptiles.com) are the "super snow hets". Ditto on the attitude, btw.

But seems like we do need better names here, a better way of referring to snows, mack snows, super snows, etc, so there isn't this confusion. anyone?
 
sorry didnt mean to sound rude. his site shows around 1200 for snows but it doesnt say anything about super snow . maybe tere is something im missing
 
Your missing how they are produced. He only has males available, therefore you breed the codom snow to a female of your choice, could be a normal female, or a line bred snow, dosent matter. You take any female snow offspring produced, breed it back to the original snow father, and you'll have a 1 in 4 shot at producing a super snow. There are now super forms of this codom trait available for sale that I know of at this time, and since the male "hets" are available with no females, this is what you would have to do to obtain a super. Either that, or wait for someone to offer a super for sale, which will probably be quite a bit more than the $1200 you've already seen.
