    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

So long old friend..

Ok well some of you might know from past posts that a couple years ago I had a 6 yr old german giant that I had recieved as a gift from my ( at that time) my boyfriends mothers friends, may I remind you they had reciebed her from his mother who recieved her from someone who had over bred her causing her to not have any front nails on her feet due to diggin for so long, well when she came into my custody I had given her all I could, a 125 gallon tank with lots of room, regular vet check ups and even special stuff for her feet to make her feel more comfortable, the best diet any dragon could recieve and LOTS OF NATURAL SUNLIGHT! I had her for about 2 yrs and then things went down the drain for me and my boyfriend causing him to take her with him...well we talked one day and I said I wanted her and well.. I was to late, she went back from where she came from..dont get me wrong the people r nice and love their animals but I know she was put back into the 40 gallon tank she was kept in b4 I got her...let me remind you shge was a BIG GIRL! She weighed in at her last vet check of 614 grams and 20" long was her constant length because b4 I had gotten her about an inch or more of her tail had rotted off. Well come to find out I heard from my boyfriend whom I had broken up with and gotten back together with that she finally had finally passed onto the shoulder of god...lame to say but yeah....she was my first beardie and probably the one who will stay in my heart for the rest of my life..I didnt have her for a long time but while she was with me she had made me learn ALOT about these magnificant creatures. Thing is when we broke up he had said when he took her she quit eating and lost ALOT of weight...she ate like a pig when I had kept her...I was thinking maybe she was not only upset she was being kept in a smaller tank but also because she was moved and was not getting the care and attention and best diet she had when she was with me...I just wonder if she still remembers me...Louise, you will be missed...... :bawling:

aww. im really sorry for your loss. I dont think saying, "i know how you feel" quite cuts the cake in these sorts of situations. But i do hope that eventually when things settle some, that you can take another beardie into your life and love it just as much as youve shown to have loved Louise.
