In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

So what is everybody keeping?

Anything interesting? At the moment I'm focusing mostly on rescue/rehab projects, and my collection is a bit mamba-heavy as a result - those guys tend to come in seriously damaged and in need of care.

Just picked up a nice green and black boyfriend for my melanistic female boomslang that I raised from the egg. He's cute but a squimy handful.

What are you keeping these days?

Right now.....

1.1 Bothrops asper which I just recieved today
0.1 Trimeresurus trigonecephalus
1.0 Daboia russelli

That is the extent so far of my collection, but I have my eye on others. ;)

Due to legal restrictions from living within city limits, all I have as of now is a female Mangrove...

Once I get out of Hell though (lol), that is sure to expand...

In the meantime, I do get to find a ton of atrox while out herping, and if I'm lucky, a blacktail or *maybe* even a banded rock rattler will grace me with it's presence...:)

Brian, damn man, some B. asper's huh...getting into some heavy stuff (as if the Daboia wasn't hardcore enough, LOL)...be CAREFUL!!!!!

Well I thought about them for a while and made sure I could get proper care if something messed up and I got bit. I had them at work today as I wasn't taking a chance with the DHL man at my house. Lets just say when I get a package at work no one will go near it. One guy did ask what I got and to avoid a big stink i said a couple of corn snakes. ;)

Do I really need to answer this????? LOL....

2.2 Gaboons
1.1 Rhinos
1.1 Puff adders
3.1 Gaboon X Rhinos
0.0 Venomoids

Some very highend leopard geckos......1.3 Super hypo tang carrot tails from The Urban Gecko, 0.1 SHTCT albino, 1.2 Paternless albinos, And a female blizzard that is het for albino......

A pair of melanistic garters and a pair of albino checkerd

And one ball python that is 100%het for hypo.....

As far as hots go I just have my Crotalus atrox and my little stiletto snake. I'd highly recommend stiletto snakes for people who are easily amused.
