    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

So who's going to Tinley this year?

Got my reservation all set (couldn't get one at the Holiday Inn, but I did get one within 2 minutes of there). I'm game for meeting up Friday night for whatever!
 
I will be there Saturday all day. I will be hanging out at my buddy Claude's table he is sharing with Mark Guffy. Mark sells displays and has an endcap and 2 tables. I hope to see some of you there! Here I am at the Wheaton show so you know what I look like! I am the one with the coral snow corn around my neck....

Guess I won't be going after all. :(

I bought new french doors for my dining room to replace a VERY ugly slider and we discovered today that we have to replace 15 feet or so of wall on the side of our house due to water damage. ALL of it! The siding was installed incorrectly in that section and water had been leaking underneath it the whole time we've lived here (12 years) and I never noticed (it drained into a coal cellar in the basement and the spiders down there are big enough to ride on so I never went in there :ack2:). I'm surprised it didn't fall down. It was completely rotten from the outside in up to the lathe and plaster(on the inside). I think the only thing that saved it is the lathe is oak, thank goodness.

I am so bummed, but I can't afford to do both and we have to get this done before it gets nasty outside. Hope everyone has fun and take lots of pictures!!

We'll be there, I think I will be hanging out with Damon at the Degei table unless I can stay hidden. Something about helping over some beers I don't recall...:shootfoot

What's left of the hatchling boa's will be there, very eager babies that need to taste someone else's blood, errrr I mean find new loving homes. :thumbsup:

Dang, Beth, you're one of the people I really wanted to meet! I may be able to make it on Saturday, but I am not sure. The South Shore Railway runs right by my house and right by Tinley so my son and I might try that. I just can't stand it that I can't go....I know I'm a pouty little kid...but durn it...I at least want to meet everyone! >>insert whiny voice here<< :D

If'n y'all meet at the Holiday Inn bar Saturday I'll be there...with bells on! I'll send Beth a PM letting her know (if'n that's all right with you, Beth?).

What kind of service dog do you have? My dog is a golden lab...dumb as a box of hammers, but I know if I had a seizure he'd be there for me to hit the panic button. I don't have a seizure disorder, but my aunt did, I inherited him from her. Gawd forbid I should catch a cold or something though...he's all over me like a wet blanket! Best dog I've ever had!

I have a seizure disorder. My Echo is my best friend and always is watching out for me. My kids all keep telling me they want him. LOL

They can get their own dog! This boy is my shadow.

One more I thought you would like.
We were out at the local zoo doing a reptile meet and greet in their reptile area. This boy of mine got bored and took a nap and I couldn't miss the chance for this GREAT picture. And yes, thats a real snake on the sign.
