In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I Recently purchased this 1100 gram female for a great price. I have NO experience with the mystic gene and a question has been raised about her. So, those of you out there who know this gene far better then I, what do you think? :)
I would really appreciate any help you can give.

In my opinion I would say that is just a Mystic. I dont see anything in that animal that represents cinnamon. Contact the breeder you got her from and hopefully you can work something out.

Unfortunately, I have zero access to the breeder. That would be the first place I would go if I could. :)
And, now im really confused. The question was in regard to her being mystic, not being a cinnamon.Hmmmm......I cant wait to hear what other people say. Obviously, breeding her will be the only full proof way to prove her genetics, but having an idea would help me to determine her future lover....Hahahahahaha

You are correct. Not sure how I screwed that up when I typed that out. lol I would contact the person who sold her to you. They are still accountable to stand by the animal even if they did not produce it. Hopefully it works out. Depending how good the price was they may owe you some compensation.

Never seen one before but I think I see both cinnamon and mystic in her. The faded head says cinnamon to me and she has the bel complex Cyclops aliens with single upside down triangle eyes. I'd give her the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise.

Thank you! I actually was informed by a trusted breeder that the mystic gene will cause the upper part of the eyes to be blue or silver. Almost like a split colored eye! And, yup, hers are definitely silver. I compared her eyes to other cinnys and they had pure black eyes; no dual color visible at all.
So, does anybody have proven mystics and mystic combos that can corroborate that? I am curious. :) If this is the case, then maybe this post will help other people identify mystics.
I will try to get a close up shot of her eyes to show.....

I've got some Mojave combos with blue eyes. I've heard Mojave and mystic can be hard to tell apart.

Here is a chocolate cinnamon Mojave showing the blue eyes:

Here is her chocolate Mojave mom with a mystic actually but you can't see his eyes in this picture:

Wow, im just gonna say this........these pic sare taken off of my I-phone 4S. They look better then my DSLR! LOL

Yes, mojave eyes do the same thing, apparently. :)
I can honestly say that I feel better. Now...the "what to breed her to.." dilemma.
I have a black pewter, a fire, a lesser, a pied and an oasis male. The oasis would be killer, however I don't think he will be up to size this year. He is the PICKIEST eater!! I do have a lesser bee, but he is a 400 gram 3 year old that is a ridiculous eater as well.
I will probably grab a mojave from someone. cinny mystic potion would be WICKED!

I'll be very lucky to hatch one male chocolate Mojave mystic from the pair in my 2nd photo but if there are two I'm just saying they'd make a nice pair.
