Enclosure: Outdoor housing when possible is the way to go. These turtles do bask and are the perfect size for those short on space. Young ones can be kept indoors till they reach 4 plus inches in size. This species does handle cold temps well in suitable habitat.
Diet: Feeding on a mix of Mazuri and OmegaOne aquatic turtle pellets, freeze dried BSF larvae, freeze dried shrimp and red wigglers.
