• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

    Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days
    Sponsors - Eliminated
    Benefactor level members - $25 per 30 days
    Endowment level members - $50 per 30 days

    On July 1, 2027, all paid memberships will be closed.

    On August 1, 2027, FaunaClassifieds will be terminated.

    Only change I expect that might take place is when I can get around to figuring out when the amount of money I would have to refund for the yearly paid memberships becomes less than the monthly expense of leasing my server, THAT date might be the termination date for the site.

Last CB 2019 Razorback musk turtle. Well established, active and voracious eater. Too young to sex and were not incubated for a particular sex.

NOTE: Know your state laws. This species might be restricted in some states. I will not ship these to states where they are restricted.

Enclosure: Outdoor housing when possible is the way to go. These turtles do bask and are one of the most gorgeous turtles out there. Young ones can be kept indoors till they reach 4 plus inches in size. This species does handle cold temps well in suitable habitat.

Diet: Feeding on Reptomin pellets, Aquamax 400 grower, dried river shrimp and freeze-dried black worms.

What to expect: I am happy to answer any questions you have, before and after the transaction is over. The most important thing for me is that my hatchlings get a good home so if you are new to the hobby then I am happy to help you with every aspect of their care. Good afternoon, I am new to Fauna Classifieds but am interested in an aquatic turtle for an aquarium. I have a red eared slider in a pond in the yard and have several tortoises as well. In researching the razorback musk turtles, I am finding huge differences on how large they get! Any information you can provide me would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Debbie, the adults are usually between 5 and 6 inches, with the occasional exception of individuals staying smaller or larger but I haven't seen any exceptionally large adult.
