    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

they are awesome, and very easy to keep, they dont need high temps, they dont need to be fed insects, and are VERY docile

if your herp room has a temp in the mid 70's ypou can keep a crestie in there with no heat, they are great, easier than leos, lol

cool thanks for the reply
the reptile store i shop at has a couple breeding groups of these guys :D
ill have to get into cresties for my next project :) , they look awesome.
I like the look of these aboreal netted zip cages they stock at my local reptile store , i know most people use them for chameleons, how would the cresties do in this type of cage?

Cresteds are AWESOME.......i love them cause they are one of the few, incuding other rhacs, arboreaL species that are docile.

Awsome pics!!! I am a snake guy but these guys have caught me in the last 2 months..lol Got 30 some of the little buggers since then..lol

Nice cresties Dan! That’s so cool that you already have eggs. Good luck with them and post some pics when they hatch. :D

red....cresteds do fine in reptariums or glass cages...just spray with water once or twice a day

That's awesome Dan! What a great surprise. Is there any way to tell when a female Crested is gravid?

they'll look chubbier (give or take)...and you can feel the eggs in them a few days, maybe a week before they lay them...you can see the eggs when they're up against the glass (give or take...I keep saying that b/c I have 1 female that's chubby on her own and harder to tell with her)

but a sure sign...they start digging 1-3 or so days before they get ready to lay their eggs
