In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Some of my favorites...

Thought I'd share some of my favorite pics now that I've figured out how to post them. The first is an albino male I produced from an unrelated het to het cross.

The next one is a Matrix Blonde Pastel Female I purchased from Brian Sharp sight unseen. She's a knockout!

The next two are offspring from a dinking project of "het tigers" (sibling offspring of an "incredibly banded" female mated to a spider). I was hoping for Tigers, but got some pretty but unexpected results. I kept back a couple of females, but have abandoned this project. What do you think?

Next to last is a Black Pastel beauty.

And the last one I'll share is my really yellow Spider male.

Sorry to get carried away with the photos. Thanks for looking!

Post em' if ya' got em'

Hey Maki,
Nice animals and pics. That .1 Pastel is a knockout. You gonna' pair her with the 1. Spider to make Bees?
That's a good looking 1. Albino too, congrats on hitting the odds with the het x het pairing.
And no need to apologize for getting carried away with the photo's. I really enjoy all the pics that are shared here (except for Steve's  ,) and I'm sure I am not the only one.

Thanks

Thank you for the kind words, Robert!

I'd originally planned to breed my blonde pastel female to a more reduced pattern blonde male. They are both directly from the Matrix line, but from two different breeders who both purchased from Matt Turner. I was interested in seeing how much I could refine that line in terms of pattern and color. I'd also like to see her make pastel calicos, but I'll decide on that after I receive my calicos. I'm sure that she and that spider would make stunning bumblebees, though....Well, I've got some time to decide.

My het to het albino results were really gratifying. It was years in the making because I raised the female up from a hatchling. When I purchased the male (NERD het high contrast albino), I took the seller's word that he'd purchased it from NERD and didn't know to ask for any documentation. That albino pictured is from my '07 clutch. My hets actually made a clutch last year too and I got 2 albino males in that one. The one 06 male I kept is now breeding an unrelated het albino female so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

This is all way too much fun!

Beautiful snakes! That first female pic from the "het tiger" breeding is a very pretty one. I like her.

Very nics animals. Those dinker babies look very interesting.
good luck with them and I really hope they prove out

I'm glad you like them

Actually, I was hoping for incredible banding on my dinker project so I don't plan to pursue that particular group much more. They have a busy pattern that is attractive in its own right and good contrast in all the offspring so I'm keeping the original female, and three of the prettiest female offspring to breed into morphs to see what happens. The other offspring were sold as normals and I've got plans for the rack space that the two original males are occupying. At least it was gratifying to hear from the pet store that my babies were prettier than the rest and all sold right away. I can post more pics from that project if you think they deserve more attention than that.
