    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

are so ignorant about reptiles even when they work in pet stores and claim to know something.

In my city, where I go for emergency feeders, there's a guy who actually claimed that he KNEW that the website/company Screameleons used dye on their chams like dye is used on fish, cause he just "knew" that there was no way a reptile could be any of those colors our of the magazine.

How idiotic does this sound???

I immediately corrected him, but he's so adamant about this, it made me second think selling him any of my reptiles, at least until he reads a little more.

It'll be a shock if he actually sees them for himself. Most pictures fail to capture the actual glow that some chameleons have, especially when viewed under good UV light or sunlight. I've got pics of my veiled that people think are altered, but in reality, the pictures don't even do the colors justice.

LL reptiles had a nosey be for sale at the last show - they bought it from the Kammers a few months prior. People could not believe how an animal could be so blue.

I agree, some people just don't understand. I almost ended up getting a nosy be male, very blue too. But she didn't want to do a trade, cash only *sigh* I was short by $50 to buy him lol...so I got the veileds. deffinately not complaining, they're fun to watch and are giving me great experience. But to hear someone say that about reptiles.....they just don't see that there is true beauty in chams that is absolutely natural
