    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

So I decided to cut my eggs open a little bit early, today is day 56 and one of the babies crawled out immediately. It's the smallest egg out of all of them, and the yolk sac wasn't completely absorbed. I noticed that the cord connecting the sac was tied in a knot around his body, so I tried to un-knot it and it basically fell apart in my hands, the cord snapped and so I sat there and held it to keep pressure and tried to tie a rubber band around it but it was too short so I just held it for a long time until it stopped bleeding. The snake seemed dead soon after it crawled out of the egg, but after I untied the sac and held that pressure it seems like it has been moving a little bit. I put it in a small bowl with a damp paper towel and put him back in the incubator to keep warm.

If he does live past today what should I do? Is there anything I can do? He is so small and frail. I'm freaking out so any input will really help me. (This is my first ever clutch).

I would definitely refrain from any further handling of him. Last thing he needs is more stress. I don't have much experience with this exact situation but I would think he's too weak to try to assist feed him at this point and it would probably do more harm then good. So I think you just have to wait it out for a little while and hope he gets stronger over the next few days. Hopefully someone with more experience will chime in soon. Good luck.

Trying to assist feed it now would kill it.
All you can do is provide supportive husbandry (which you are already doing), and wait. Since it didn't get to absorb the yolk, it might be worth considering tube feeding IF it survives a few days and is looking like it has a chance.
 
It ended up dying :'( I tried everything I could for it though. It stumps me, because it was the most beautiful snake in the whole clutch, I can't figure out if it was a regular lesser or not.
