In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi, I am somewhat new into the reptile world but I have become completely in love, especially with lizards. I have a leopard gecko who has grown more vibrant since November and I now am starting my search for a bright colored bearded dragon, hopefully orange or red. I am open to any suggestions of breeders or just places that sell. I am somewhat scared about the shipping process of such an animal tho. I am from northern California, and I am not sure what to say but thanks!:)

Welcome Nadia! :D
I hope that your leo is doing well! I think they're simply adorable, and that's saying something because I'm not even much of a lizard person myself. :p I do know that there's a bearded dragon section in the classifieds here though, I suggest you try to find a seller there. A reputable breeder will probably have positive feedback either in their trader rating or in a Board of Inquiry thread. (You can use the BOI to research users and see reviews from people who have dealt with them before.) They should also be familiar with proper shipping, it's quite safe when done right, and that's another reason why it's so important to find a responsible seller.

Best of luck to you~

Thank you!

Thank you for the reply, I have never been on a forum before so this is new as well. My leopard gecko is doing great, I love him so much. :D

I can see him now and he's very cute, I especially love his bright colors! I'm glad to hear that he's in such a loving home and is doing good for you too, thanks for sharing! :D

Large forums like this can definitely take some tinkering in the beginning to get used to, but I'm sure you'll be comfortable exploring soon enough. If you get stuck on something, there's a Frequently Asked Questions page here http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/faq.php?faq=vb3_board_usage#faq_vb3_forums_threads_posts And there's also a Feedback Forum for asking questions along with the Testing Area where you can practice post.

When it comes to posting pictures from photobucket like that, all you have to is paste the IMG code in to the message you're typing. To do that, you go to the picture you want on Photobucket and find where it says "Image Links" on the right. It should have four - Email & IM, Direct link, HTML code, and IMG code. You want to click on IMG code and it should copy the link automatically (If not, you might have to highlight and right click) Then just paste the IMG code link right in to your message where ever you want it.
The link should look something like this

only without any spaces. If you're sending an advanced message (As easy as clicking "Go Advanced" under the Quick Reply) then there will be a "Preview post" button right next to "Submit" that will allow you to see how your message will look before you send it. I always like to check that first if I'm including photos, but that's just me, I'm sure you'll find what works best for you in no time! Good luck~ :yesnod:
