    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

The male-he is much darker than the female, and a little better tempered, lol.

I have been breeding the Sonoran Desert Boas

for 2 years now ... I have had people tell me there was no such thing as Sonoran Deserts! Now that Reptiles has an article about them, I can rest easy lol. I love the fact they are small, and I absolutely love all of the subtle variations my babies have had ... the pinks, and chocolates, and speckles, and tail stripes. It is nice to know someone else enjoys them too!

Yeah, I fell in love with these guys pretty quickly.....I have been told by a few people that my female may be a Hypomelanistic. What do you think?

I am not to sure about what it takes

for something to be considered "hypomelanistic". There are always a couple of babies that have almost no black on them. I always thought they were a hypo variant, but did not call them that for fear of false advertising. How old is your pair? I have a lone female yearling with a ton of pink and a tail stripe.

Mine are about 6 months old I'd guess. They are almost 2 feet long each. The female has shed twice since I've had them and she gets pinker and lighter w/ every shed.
