In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Sooo...who's ready to get started?!

I don't know about everyone else, but my girls are fat and happy and I can't wait to get this season started. I held back a couple girls last year just to get a little more weight on them and now they're more than ready! Let me know what you've got planned and if you've started yet?

My girls are ready, but gonna give them a month or 2 to put on more weight. Mine stop eating the minute I put males in so gonna give them some more time to pack on extra weight. I plan to go for super pastel pos het hypo, pastel lesser, lesserxbutter BEL, and bumblebees. Nothing crazy but the BEL is why I started breeding so real excited there and have been dying to replace a male pastel with a super and lesser makes everything better. I'll also throw the lesser male to a normal that has some amazing pattern and brilliant white outlines to all patterns with high white sides. Can't wait so excited. Best of luck to all of you this year.

I was hoping to have three females ready for this season, but two of my gals are missing about 300 grams so I'm going to hold back on them. So this years I'm working on a High White Dinker x pastel het pied project.

Lauren if you keep them pounding food you may be able to get them to go by the new year. I didn't pair till that time last year anyways.

Nick just because it has been done a million times does not detract from you doing it. All year round I'd go nuts.

I just started a few days ago- I am staring mnuch earlier thi sseason. I usually wai ttil december to start, but I decided to try and spread the eggs out- which of course, wouldnt surprise me it that all still came at once.

I have some girls close to the 1k gram mark- gonna see if they go later in the season, or if not early next season. I dont know about breeding all year- but if I spread them out i may be able to go longer. It all depends on a lot of factors since space is limited. But I may be able to breed one more girl if I split them up, but its gonna depend on clutch size and how long the non hold back take to sell.

Seems like breeding takes place all year whether you want it to or not.
Feed up time, pairing time, egg laying time, incubation time, hatching time, re-feeding up time, oh and then rebreeding time again, lol

We started pairing this week with a black pastel X dinker mom, no locks yet but it's real early for us. most of our pairings won't begin until November/December due to such a late season this past year.

Planned so far:

Black pastel het albino X 3000+ gram albino
Black pastel X 2000+ gram yellowbelly
Black pastel X 2800 gram dinker mom
Clown X 2000+ gram spider yellowbelly
Clown X 1500 gram Bumblebee
Mojave X 2500 gram normal
Either Clown or Black Pastel X 2500 Gram Black pastel
Enchi X Yellowbelly(late season hopeful)

Good luck with your projects everyone and always remember "Quality over Quantity" :D

This is what I have planned as of today, lol:

Spinner x Super pastel
Albino x Mojave
Black Pastel het albino x het albino
Spinner x dinker #1
Black pastel & Spinner x normal #1
Black pastel & Spinner x normal #2
Albino x het albino

Could be late:
Cinnamon het albino x het albino
Cinnamon het albino x spider albino
Cinnamon het albino x dinker #2

I turned my incubator off a couple weeks ago and am ready to pair again in a couple weeks!!! I have a couple new combos up my sleeve for this year with the star player being a proven male leopard. One of his lovely ladies will be a sable female, should be a sweet combo! Good luck everyone

my first yr breeding already started to toss males in couple good locks so far hope they stay at it
albino x albino
lesser x pin
lesser x lesser
pastel x pastel
pastel x spider
het albino x het albino
het pied x het pied

Well I'm jealous of all of you! I'm working on:
Pastle x Spider
Spider x Normal
Lesser(if he decides to!) x Normal
Het albino x Albino

I'm just hoping to produce some beautiful babies! My progeny from last year convinced some friends and family that snakes aren't pure evil, so that was a good enough pay off for me! Good Luck everyone!

LOL I had to look up progeny I've never heard that before

Already had several good locks as follows:

Fire x Normal
Hypo x Normal
Spider x Normal
Lemon Pastel x Normal

Have a female pastel het ghost I hope to have up to size late, but don't know yet. If so will either pair her with the fire or hypo or both.

Larry

I'm gonna start a little later this year to a) beef up some of my girls a little more, and b) figure out what pairings I want to do. Here are what will likely happen...

Hypo Pastel and/or Hypo Mojo x Pastel het hypo

Hypo Pastel and/or Hypo Mojo x Pinstripe

Hypo Pastel and/or Hypo Mojo x Cinnamon

Het Pied x Het Pied

Yellow Belly x Normal(not sure yet)

Lesser x Normal(not sure yet)

I may have another female pastel, female spider, and a female het ghost or 2 ready to go late, but I'm in no rush to get them up to size. I was planning on breeding my butter pastel poss het hypo and albino males, but they seem to be slowing down a little already, so they may have to wait till next year.

Haha yes I guess I can't take all the credit for my snakes' babies! Looks like I may have a few more that might go this year! Looking now for some mojaves and pinstripes also!
