Hey everyone!
As you can already see, I've already posted a few times here. Now that my exams are over and I'm back to work, I have not as much to do in the evenings (and those boring hours at work
), so I thought I'd be more involved here! Lucky for you guys huh?
Anyway, my name is Heather Sutherland. I'm from Middle-of-Nowhere, Canada. I originally found Fauna through google while looking for Petsores and breeders near me. I ended up finding a thread on here about Dan from Red Deer Reptiles, and here I am!
I've kept snakes ever since I was five years old. I still have my first snake fifteen years later. He's an old boy, and me being a little kid when I got him, I named him Katie. Katie is more or less my mascot and reptile ambassador when I talk to the public about snakes and reptiles in general. Although nippy at first, he's quite calm when being handled. I work at the SPCA in my area, and work with our Education coordinator and go to schools to talk about reptiles to children. I also perform more legal aspects that the SPCA must deal with in regards to reptiles. I have to admit, it's an awesome job, and I love being one of the few people who others turn to in regards to reptiles in my field.
Anyway, that's my short and boring introduction.
