A member on another forum had some phone contact with this guy, so I thought it might be important to put his name out there, I don't know if he kept herps, but he was a small animal "rescue".original Link:

A New Jersey man is in police custody after it was discovered he was posing as a female veterinarian while running an illegal animal care business.
Daniel Tyce, 26, is facing multiple charges, including the unlicensed practice of medicine, in connection with an online business he ran from his Atlantic City home.
Over the past two years, authorities said Tyce and an assistant ran "South Jersey Small Animal Rescue." The businesses website claimed it was a non-profit organization, but police said it was neither a legitimate business nor registered non-profit.
Tyce solicited donations online and via collection cans at area stores. The site also contained ads for animals that could be adopted for a fee.
Police said Tyce posed as a female veteran with a doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania. Using the name Danielle Smith, Tyce would allegedly make house calls in the New York City area.
A customer contacted authorities after becoming suspicious of Tyce when he visited her home to vaccinate her pets on Christmas Eve. Tyce was taken into custody on Jan. 9, 2009.
Investigators are searching for other customers victimized by the cross-dressing suspect over the past two years. It is not clear what motivated Tyce to pose as a woman.
