    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

wanted to know if anyone has bought any animals from south mountain reptiles? if so how were the animals packaged, what was their condition(s)?
would you buy from them again? how was their customer service?

I am interested in their business but i want to take my time to see who is safe to buy from and who isn't. we all have heard horror stories but i don't want that to happen hence why my inquiry.

You will be hard pressed to find someone more knowledgeable and honest than Don. I've known Don for over 15 years and would not hesitate to deal with him.

You will not be disappointed purchasing from Don!
 
thank you for the information cant wait to order, now just gotta wait for my sister to go off to collage before i make any purchases as she is afraid of snakes and has told me to wait till shes out of the house before i get anymore reptiles
 
Don Soderberg is truly one of the most intelligent and honest breeders of our time. He cares about every aspect of what he does, from his animals to his customer service. Every snake I have ever received from him was nothing short of amazing, and I am certain your experience with him will be nothing short of absolute top notch quality.

I would gladly buy from Don again! I purchased a corn snake from him in 2007, packaged perfectly, better looking than he said it would be and communication was great. I also have corns in my collection now from his stock, they are healthy and produced eggs this year. You can't go wrong with SMR!
 
One of the best!!!!

I have dealt with Don over the past 6+ years. If I want a certain type of snake and Don has it I look no further. Would that every dealer had the integrity and excellance of service Don always extends.

I purchased a young corn snake from Don Soderberg at cornsnake.net and it was a great experience.

I got my snake in November, he was healthy, active, alert, and he's been growing well. He's never shown any aggression, has never struck or bit me, always eats for me... Just a really good snake.

I'm a first-time snake owner and it's the first time I've ever bought a live animal over the internet. He answered my questions quickly and thoroughly, very good communication. The website is nicely done and everything is clear.

I just received a male cayenne fire hatchling this morning from SMR, and wow he's a stunner! The snake was well packed, healthy and alert, and communication with Don was beyond excellent. If/when I expand my collection, SMR will be the first place I look. :thumbsup:
 
Doesn't seem like Don is hurting for praise, but I'll throw my two cents in. I've purchased over a dozen corn snakes from Don over the years, and every one was flawless and exceptional in appearance. The ones I kept went on to be great breeders, and the ones I purchased for resale made my customers very happy, often getting oohs and aahs due to their beauty. One time, when Don couldn't fill my order due to having sold out of a particular morph faster than he expected, he sent me replacement animals of a higher dollar value for the same price. So to recap: great animals, great shipping, great businessman and all around pleasant person to interact with.
 
I have been in this business for a very long time. And customers love to tell me their woes of anyone they have dealt with previously. Don is one of the few whom I have NEVER heard anyone say a bad word about. In fact, I have heard more praises about his customer service and patience than I have heard about anyone else.

I have bought a few corns from Don over the years for myself, as well. My own experience has been just as positive as those of my customers who have also purchased from him. I doubt you will find a better breeder to buy from, whether in terms of quality, selection, or customer service.
