In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Bad Guy Southern Bait Worms - Problem

sXeReptiles,
You just sent that email last night at 7:41 pm. I don't sit around and monitor this site. Your worms will be shipped Monday.
Billy,
It's amazing to me how quick you jump on board and don't even know whats going. I have been in contact with SB almost everyday for the past week both by phone and email. His order has been lost. You know that does happen. I'll reship his worms Monday at no extra cost to him.
What happen to the post you were supposed to post when you got your FREE WORMS. You never posted it. I even emailed you to make sure you got them and you did. Still no post about FREE WORMS. You posted mighty quick again when you thought someone wasn't going to get there worms. How long have you had your FREE WORMS and still no post.
David

well i ordered them a couple of days before i posted this. it was very hard to get ahold of him through email so i called him. when i finally called him he didnt even know what my address or my tracking number for my package even though i filled out my shipping info correctly. after that got straightend out i told him to ship my worms this last monday so i wouldnt have to have any delay in their shipping. i emailed him on late monday night asking if he shippedd them, and he emailed me back and said they were shipped. well now its sunday. ive contacted him everyday scince thursday the day they were soposed to get here and he has awnsered the phone calls ive placed i do not know if hes seen all the emails. at any rate he says hes reshipping my order today. all i know is if their not here by this wednesday (the day hes sayin they will be here)ive gotta ask for a refund the lizards are very hungry.

Thanks for the reply. I'm just not used to ordering something and not getting a replying email, sorry for that.

It's a difficult decision to make when I have a certai amount of money to work with for reptile food per month. But your prices were to good to pass up. Thanks again

I ordered from David too, and, like the other people who posted on this thread, became concerned when I didn't hear from him so I generated an email to him enquiring about my order. He answered back and explained that the delay was due to a family emergency and that he would ship my worms the following Monday. I knew he couldn't do that because it was MLK Day, but I expected him to mail them on Tuesday so I didn't get concerned until I didn't receive them Thurday. We emailed back and forth again and he HAD mailed them Tuesday, so they should have arrived Thursday. Friday and Saturday went by and no worms. David said that he would re-ship on Monday and if the first shipment did get here that it was FREE becaue of all the trouble we had experienced. The first shipment arrived back at his dooropened, the worms all dead, and, I bet, reeking to high heaven. The POST OFFICE obviously made a mistake and it was beyond David's control. I received my worms the following Wedns. and they were all alive and very healthy. I didn't count them (2000 superworms) but it looked to me as though there was an overcount. I am completely satisfied with my purchase and will order from him again.

Sometimes things happen and everything all goes wrong, but if the seller makes it right there is no harm, no foul, as far as I am concerned. I will admit that I couldn't meet the baleful glares my bearded dragons gave me when I made them eat canned worms for a week, but eat them they did when they got desperate enough for worms. I keep the canned worms on hand for emergencies such as that. Also, my dragon actually like the Nature Zone Bearded Dragon Bites, so I know that they didn't suffer at all, especially with their greens.

That is all I have to say. I just think that we need to be flexible when problems like this happen because, hey, it could happen to anyone.

Thank you.

Vickie Kestler

I understand being flexible, and it's great that everyone eventually got their orders and is satisfied.
However, multiple customers with orders lost or misplaced (purportedly by the Post Office) in the span of a few months seems excessive. Perhaps Southern Bait Worms needs to look into other shipping services. It seems that a lot of aggravation, delays, and frustrated customers could be avoided if the seller switches to UPS or Fedex. Just my $0.02 as I've never personally had any dealings.

got my worms today all alive. ways of business is a little different, not much communication after placing an order...i guess im just used to recieving an email after sending the paypal with or without a shipping number and info on when its being shipped, but turned out well. cant beat the prices either!

thanks SBW

I'am making some changes to how we ship our worms. I will be sending out emails confirming each customers order. This will be done the following day after the order. Except weekends which will be done on Monday. Customers will also receive a email when their order ships. I hope this will help with communication.
I will be offering small and medium superworms very soon. At great prices.
Thanks,
David

I thought I was never going to get mine from them but they arrived two weeks and one email later he responded to my email and told me when they will arrive but don't know what would have happen if I never sent email but on that not they arrived in good shape.

I placed an order for superworms and crickets about 2 weeks ago - just before I read this thread. My account was charged but I never received an email notification confirming my order, except from paypal, nor an expected shipping date. I completely understand and empathize with family emergencies but at the same time this is a business so at least an email stating that there is a delay and when I can expect the order would be nice. If I realized I'd be waiting this long I would have ordered elsewhere only because my animals are now waiting for food. Soooo, if SBW is still having issues due to this family emergency, please do send me an email or a PM letting me know when I will be getting my order.

I (Southern Bait Worms) was labeled a bad guy on this site about a year ago (which I deserve) due to lack of communication and slow delivery of worm orders. I was going through some family problems and was unable to take care of my customers. I refunded everybody that wanted one and gave away some free worms to satisfy my customers. I shut down my business until I was able to serve my customers.
I have moved and relocated my business and would like the oppurtunity to earn your trust and business again.
Thanks,
David Cumlander
