    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

So... I've set up a BBQ get together next weekend, March 28th.

If anyone is interested, please let me know! Here is the info:

Bring something food.

Bring something that you can share. This will be potluck! Bring enough for at least 20 people.

It will be in Farnsworth Park, in Altadena.

Parking is free.

i wish i was able to come down!! i would sooo be there, but my sister is coming out that day and i havent seen her in a bit. but i hope you have fun girly!!! eat some ribs for me :)
 
actually i really wanted to be there but i had to pick my kids up on saturday so there was no way to do both. glad you had a good turn out. i hope that i can make the next one if there is one.

So glad you had a good time-
I did a few cookouts here in NM last year; it's fun to meet other keepers in the area. This year my local pet store owner is hosting an "expo" for Easter... there's a group of us who will be there to show proper set-ups, hand out care sheets & we'll be cooking out too.
 
if i had known my sis's plane was delayed i would have sooooo been there.......i should have beaten her for that lol
