In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I would agree. Racks are excellent ways to house many leos. You can also house a few geckos in each tub depending on the size.

I think the ones I posted are 15qt. Iris tubs. And yes, they are a little small for two Leos. It was just a temporary thing, when I first got that group.

REALLY? if you look at some of my pics that's a 58qt, about the size of a 20g i think, and it's just enough room for my 0.1, that's it.. and even with her in there it's crowded lol i think it's cause it's so high and not very long lol.

The Iris "boot boxes" are just slightly smaller than the Rubbermaid and Sterilite "blanket boxes" which allows them to fit on the 23 1/4" melamine shelving found at hardware stores.

I made this rack for the Iris boot boxes, and didn't have to cut a single piece of melamine.

The boot boxes are also slightly shorter in height than the Rubbermaids and Sterilites, which can also save a little space.

Here is an example of one of my racks I built. Each holds six 32qt bins, and would house a 1.3 group of leos without a problem (these hold adult cornsnakes).

I also own four of NSReptiles Snake Shacks (6qt and 15qt) which I highly recommend. www.nsreptiles.com

where can i get the boot boxes, i'm shopping mainly at walmart not many other places here to go :( all i saw today under the 58qt there was the 6 and 12 or 15qt ones, some that were i think 20 but they were just really tall :(

The only place I have seen them is The Container Store online. They're not cheap, but they are pretty nice. One of the 24 I received broke in shipping, and they replaced it immediately w/o any hassle.

i mean nothing in this "business" is cheap but i'm sorta looking around to see if maybe i can get spare or 2nd hand stuff, used is fine i can clean it up, just looking for a small rack for what i have, maybe even a few snakes later, but mainly my 1 gecko, but i'm looking for more and will have to put them somewhere, got mine in a 58qt and it looks SOOOOOOO small.

A 58qt tub is well beyond what you need for a 1.3 group of Leos.

Here are my 32qts (used for 1.3 breeding groups of Leos, single adult cornsnakes and single young boas)...

see that's what i need, i dont think my 58 is that big floor space measures
20x14 very small indeed :( i hate it she deserves BETTER lol.
oh and i want my rack like what you have with it horizontal like that :D wont have room for very many but that's how i want it the other way would take up too much space, i figure if i were to go front to back like most racks, they'd have to be under 25" long and that's kind of hard to find lol.

The tubs measure 12"W x 6"D x 22"L

They were purchased from Walmart probably about a year ago. I'm not sure if they carry this kind anymore (Rubbermaid).

rubbermaid 32qt i'll look do you still have the sticker on it? like a model number? if they do have them, it fits under my size requirement and would be good for adults, i'm thinking of some going lengthwize, for adults, then putting some shoebox ones on the sides for babies and juvies :D what do you think.
