In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

My bad Dennis, I get the local shows mixed up sometimes, especially the ones with multiple owners lol.

Can't edit posts on here but thanks for clarifying.

As a fellow leopard enthusiast, I'd love to hear your input on the animals that were for sale in the original post.

I'm not Dennis, but I'm a gecko person, too.

Some of those animals are disgustingly thin and should not be sold like that. I also see some with mbd. Yes, geckos can be thinner when young, but not sickly looking. Not saying that any of these are sick, but either they are or they're not being fed enough. Something isn't right with them.

Thank you Kristi. His excuse of them just being newly hatched babies that were slow feeders doesn't jive with me. I've raised hundreds of Leos over the years and never once had one look that emaciated.....the only time you see them in that condition is if they have internal parasites (Crypto used to be big back in the day but seems to have dwindled) or are being kept improperly and thus negating any appetite they may have.

It infuriates me to no end when people refuse to admit they could be doing things better with the animals in their care. Nobody knows it all, and when you're as young as Brian is, you need to be open to criticism so your animals don't suffer.

These geckos really do look like they have crypto or starved. I lost all of my geckos except two to it a few years ago. These geckos absolutely should not be sold until the problem is identified and resolved

I figured since my name was brought up I would chime in. I only sell healthy and quality geckos. I would not sell them to anyone if they were not 100% healthy!

If the geckos pictured on here were the ones you sold to Brian, they definitely were not healthy or quality geckos.....if you could confirm or refute his claims that would help greatly. Maybe establish a timeline on when/if you sold them to him? It would take a long time of not feeding them or improper husbandry for them to get into such a sad condition.....I've had young stressed out geckos not eat for weeks at a time and still didn't look that skinny/emaciated (after being shipped or moved from another location).

The only geckos that were mine that are pictured are the 2 Fasico Bells in the second post of the screen shot from They were both less than 2 months old when I sold them. I have plenty of people that will tell you that I have quality geckos and they are well care of. If you don't know me you should throw judgement on me.

Gotcha, so we've established that Brian is lying/exaggerating that he bought the other geckos from you.

I don't know you from Adam, so I was only going off the visual evidence presented, and what Brian said.....which we now know to be untrustworthy. Thanks for clearing things up.

Anyone who blows a gasket over a polite and very reasonable question about their animals' condition is a huge red flag for me. It reeks of extreme defensiveness, because that person probably knows something is very wrong. If there is a legitimate reason for the animals to look that way (such as a rescue with starved animals it is rehabilitating) then there is a quick and no-fuss answer to anyone bringing a concern.

Of course, there is no excuse for selling such emaciated animals and the fact that the seller already rehomed them tells me this isn't the only venue he was questioned in. Seeing that response makes me wonder about his character as well. If you've screwed up, just say so. "I was in over my head, I was wrong, I rehomed the animals" etc. A concern over the animals' welfare is not something to shoot the messenger over.

I agree completely. The fact that he was completely flippant about the whole thing makes me suspicious of everything he says. The good news is that this thread alone has made it more difficult for him to get his hands on more geckos to abuse/neglect in the future and made others aware of his glaringly absent ethics.

I don't know about geckos but I did purchase a ball python for this breeder a few months ago and she was INFESTED with mites. Tried to contact him to let him know so he could look out for them and he basically told me that he knows what he's doing so it couldn't have come from him. The snake ARRIVED with the mites. I was only trying to be polite and share the information with him so he could look out and I was met with attitude. Would not recommend this breeder to anyone.

You should definitely post any emails between the 2 of you so that others can see just how Brian likes to handle concerned customers. I have a good feeling I know what the conversation looked like, but it would absolutely help your case. Also any photos of the snake that show proof of the mites would be helpful.

He produces very few of the animals he sells and mostly purchases his animals from others to flip at a profit, so this doesn't surprise me one bit.

I don't have the emails anymore since it was a few months ago and I know that doesn't help my case but here are pictures of the snake I received. You can see some of the mites around the edges or her body, kind of hard to see on the rest of her since she's a pinstripe and they blend a bit. Just wanted to share this information with anyone thinking of buying from him to stay wary and be prepared for anything.
