    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I know this is longshot, but if any breeders have any non culled, no eyed, blind or one eyed snakes, id be very interested in adopting them. I love to take in reptiles with disabilities and have experience with them. Im not a breeder, and do not plan on breeding. All of my reptiles are my personal pets. Im willing to take any kind, and pay an asking price. Please PM me if you have any for adoption. This is a serious ad. I have plenty of room, and would give them a good life long home!

Its just that there is sooooo many people out to scam others and get "free" snakes in any way they can. Not calling you a scammer but there are a lot of people out to get snakes at others expense. I would think that anyone who breeds should be capable of taking care of snakes with genetic defects. but I will tell you that if you search for pewter on the search pages I think it is josh@outback who has one with a very slight defect that he is selling for a really good price if not already sold.

I agree with Dustin on a few things here. I am in no way calling you a scammer or saying that your intentions are wrong, but as Dustin has asked, what gaurantee would someone have that you are indeed taking in these animals as a good will effort?

Most serious and responsible breeders that are unfortunate to have such animals usually cull those animals so that they are not put into the public market, in order to prevent any bad genetics from being passed along.

Precisely the reason I was thinking, passing on bad genetics. Its the same as in the wild, these animals probably wouldn't survive because something would eat them or something, survival of the fittest keeps bad genetics from existing in the wild.

Hmm, I guess I can totally understand where you all are coming from. Especially since I read the BOI daily at work when bored..Id be willing to provide references from people, as well as take pics of me in my reptile room to show that I only own 4 reptiles, 2 lizards and 2 snakes. I have worked for the humane society and used to foster reptiles for them, as well as worked for a local animal sanctuary. I have never bred any animal in my life, and currently all my pets have been adopted from rescues. Not sure what else I could do to prove it. I was just putting an add out to show that someone is willing to take in the "Special" animals. If they have a quality of life, why put them down if someone is willing to give them a good forever home?
thanks! :)

Well I guess posting pics of yourself and your animals couldnt hurt, and making available any references you may have to those who may inquire would probably go along way as well.

Where in Md are you from?
