    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

My only clutch of the year is hatching out! I wound up with 3 normals and 4 spiders. Still have one spider and one normal hanging out in their eggs, but here's some pics anyway. ;)

Most of these will be up for sale around the end of August/first of September (yeah, I know, I hold them back longer to establish a feeding pattern more than most do), and I'll be taking deposits on some of them probably next week. I'm holding a male spider and a female spider back for a contest (for details, see my website), but all the others will be available to make deposits.

I'll post pics of the last two once they emerge! ;)

Thanks much guys! It's greatly appreciated! This was my first visual morph clutch, so I was pretty excited with the results! ;) The last of the babies came out! I wound up with a grand total of 0.3 normals and 2.2 spiders.

The last spider, male:

The last normal, female:

And boy does this last female really remind me of my het albino male . . . !

I almost wonder if my normal girl held back some sperm from her last breeding, but if she did, she retained it for two years!!!! She had last year off, but this baby looks nothing like her, and nothing like the spider male father, but she is almost a spitting image of my het albino male.

For all intents and purposes though, she is considered a normal.

And a group shot of the whole clutch:

Thanks much! I was pretty happy to find out that I had 4 spiders in a 7-egg clutch. Mother Nature was nice to me this year, but she'll probably make it back up next year and give me next to nothing. LOL

Thanks much!

For some reason, this particular normal female tends to throw more females. My other normal female tends to have a more 50/50 ratio, with slightly heavier emphasis on males (out of a 7-egg clutch, four would probably be males). I couldn't be happier with the end results. I kept thinking how nice it would be to get 4-5 spiders, but was realisitically thinking 2-3, and hoping for an even split on the sex ratio for the spiders.

Guess this throws a chink in my plans for next year--with these odds this year, I probably won't get a male het ghost from the breeding I'm planning next season (female ghost X male spider). LOL
