    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Spider mystic potion?

I have done Mystic x Spider Mojave this year. Hoping for eggs from the female soon. Congrats on your odds, I love Potions.

Ive decided rather in using my mojo spider to pair my mystic spider with a pastave and shoot for potion bees as a possibilty along with the potion pastel and spider.

Darren that would be an awesome pairing! The mystic potion bee would be a powerful snake to have in any collection!

Lauren unfortunately I wasted giving up my soul 6 years ago on my pastel x spider pairing. This was just luck!!! :)

Thanks Amanda I did a video I'll put up after I recover my youtube password. When I was cutting....... 4 of the first 5 were at least potions. I couldn't believe it!

congrats.....now send your pictures off and get out there as the first to produce this animal! Now think of a name if you are going to name it or just call it what it is.

Thanks Randy! I'll stick with spider mystic potion. I get confused when you call something a new name in stead of the combination of what it is!:D

Question, though... if you hatched a mystic spider and a mojave spider, would you be able to tell the difference very well? Curiosity...
 
Look earlier in the thread. There is a picture of my mystic and mojo spiders. The mystic is alot brighter.

Like Mr. D said the mystic will be lighter. You can also look at my mojave spider that bred the mystic. She's not near as bright as Mr. D's mystic spider. Still unsure on everything except at least 3 potions and 1 spider potion.
 
They're out!

The potions came out today and I have good news and bad news. I believe there's 1.1 spider mystic potions and 1.0 mystic potion. The bad news is there was another regular mystic potion that died in the egg. :( This is my first potion clutch so I'm looking for opinions here. Do you see spider mystic potions or just mystic potions? I'm very thankful of not only the genetic results, but the sex ratio too! Tell me what you think.

Wooooo Chris! I hope to follow that up next year with my Mojave Pinstripe x Cinny Mystic breeding that I hope happens. My female cinny mystic still has between 600-800 grams to go before I breed her though, and my male is only around 200 grams. Hopefully she hits a feeding/ growth spurt and he starts producing plugs in time! Totally stoked for you though! Those are killer odds, and I can't wait to see that spider potion out of the egg!
