    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm in the central-Vermont area of USA, and I'm looking for the rodents mentioned in the title. I'm looking to breed these mice and would love a trio or two of each. I can't travel long distances, but can possibly make it to the northern area of Massachusetts, New Hampshire or around the border between VT and NY.

I'm even interested in mice that you wouldn't otherwise find in a pet store... I'm talking Deer Mice, House Mice, Wood Mice, etc. Meadow/Woodland Jumping Mice... I'm not about to go catch wild mice though, lol. Can't risk any diseases. But captive-bred ones I would like.

I may be interested in African Soft Furred Rats / Multimammate Mice (rats), if anyone around the area breeds them.

Currently I'm breeding 'fancy' mice, but they aren't show quality. If anyone breeds these, I'm looking for show-type mice, or the varieties Chinchilla, Silver, Silver Agouti, Burmese, Blue Burmese or Seal/Blue Point Siamese. I'm also looking for the coat type Rex/Astrex (curly-haired).

So... yeah, I like mice. LOL. :c

Hi! I'm on the same sort of search you are! I've found both spiny and pygmy mice, but am still looking (with no leads so far) for the zebra mice.... I can get more pygmy and spiny mice, if you're interested and can't find them anywhere closer, but I am in Pittsburgh, PA. ASFs are everywhere down here, too...

Maybe we can share info, leads, etc... on finding zebra mice? I actually saw some a few years ago, in Ohio, but this was before the CDC ban (now lifted) on them- part of the monkeypox issue. I haven't found anyone that kept theirs and kept breeding their lines.

I'm a (fancy) gerbil breeder, I haven't entered any shows yet, so I don't know if they're considered 'show quality' or not, but I follow the AGS (American Gerbil Society) guidelines... I've got burmese, siamese, argente, yellow fox, dark eyed honey, nutmegs, as well as self, spotted, and pied/mottled blacks, agoutis, lilacs, etc....

Thanks,

Lisa
