    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hey guys, so he's about 7 months old and shed yesterday as well as took a poop. This is the first time I've noticed a spot like this and this is the only one I saw. His basking temperature is 90-92 degrees. And his humidity has been up to about 70% because he was in shed. I keep him in a 16qt sterlite bin with no substrate.

He had two mice the past two weeks, But it looks as though he's still got some stuff in him even after pooping yesterday. He looks a little big by his cloaca still. I've been trying to search this if it's normal in the first place for them to be a bit larger at the cloaca before they poo, so that's another question.

As for the "mark" the last mouse he seemed to get into a little scuffle with. I believe it bit or scratched him on top, so I soaked him and put some neosporin and that seemed to have healed nicely. But I'm not sure if this is from the mouse or something else..
I also just soaked him, trying to remove it if it were dried up blood but it hasn't come off.

This is the first BP I have owned, he's real calm and awesome. Hope this is something I can take care of. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks if you can help!

It does look like a bite, to me. I think you are right on track with the treatment, keep it as clean as you can, and a little dab of neosporin every so often, and just keep track of it.
Looks like some nice coloration on him :)
 
Hey thanks so much for the reply. I did a little research after posting and I'm definitely going to keep an eye on it and hope it goes away by his next shed.

As for his cloacal, is it normal for it to be a bit bigger just before it, and then skinny after? It's not as big prior to his last poo but it still looks a little larger than normal.
