Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Ok, so he got back with elkhorn who is the one person who had already gotten his money back through Visa.
I'd be curious to see if he got back with ReticRob, Ciderinc or MileHighHerps. If he was just "sick" he should be able to take care of this unfinished business now.

OK, wait a minute...

He's been sick. I can understand that. However, if a person is well enough to cash money orders, accept PayPals, and post animals for sale, why would that person not be well enough to answer emails or ship snakes? If he has a wife, was she not able to assist during this illness?

The situations that have been described have left a bad taste in my mouth. I will keep checking this thread to see how things turn out for everyone who has sent money, but I personally would expect more of an explanation than "I was sick".

On the squeeze me constrictor adds ...I thought there were other names besides ethan's. Or was I wrong?

On his web site it has an email for Ethan, Brittany & sales. During my experience I had emailed all three of the emails. The email I received today came from a different email address. It is [email protected] and that email address is not on the website. Also, I have not received a response to the reply that I sent him, granted it has only been 4 hrs or so. I will keep everyone updated on what goes on. I hope everything works out for everyone involved.

After express mailing the money order, never heard from them again. I gave it plenty of time. The money order got cashed and still no response.

Well, I did in fact receive an email this morning from Ethan. There was no mention of returning any money to me, and it really seemed that he had no idea what was going on. The letter that he wrote expaining his "sickness" was set as an attachment to his email. This is the generic letter sent:
Dear Customers,
first i would like to say that i have been out of comission for the last two weeks due to a serious case of nomonia and just now making it around enough to get to my very important customers and animals care.it looks as if during my leave things got a little confused as to who gets what and what has or hasnt been paid for by my customers.so i am to a very confused and very behind business.
The only animals that have been shipped are animals that have sold either by or one of our helpers.No Animlas that i have sold just before i fell sick have been shipped.unfortunately,none of these sales have been kept updated to what was going on with me.
i assure everyone that did business with me before i fell sick,i will straighten out.
i am very sorry for such a complete cut off from everyone.let me tell you ,it has been a very long couple of weeks and i am glad to be alive.please bare with me as i rush to straigten things out.
to speed the process up ,please email me and let me know what you paid for and how much you paid as well as your shipping information.

I then contacted the autority that I have been dealing with and he told me that this was very typical. He (Ethan) has probably been advised by a lawyer to get a letter of intent (in this case, to take care of matters) and then individually get a hold of people. I personally have sent him two emails already today with, yet again, no reaponse. My guy told me to be patient just a little longer. I know this is getting long. I think that I have covered just about everything that I know right now.
Oh the dates thing: I express mailed the money order on the 30th of Oct. It was received and signed for on the 31st. It was cashed on the 12th of Nov. Okay, I need a break from typing...
 
Well it has been 24 hrs since I replied to Ethan's email about him being "Sick" and I have not heard a word back from him. It looks like ReticRob received the same attachment as I did. I will have a agree with ReticRob it looks like Ethan is trying to buy some time, hopefully I am wrong, but it does not look good. Also, I talked to a friend of mine that is an importer and he said that Ethan has scammed people in the past under a different business name. This business was kicked off of Kingsnake. He cannot remember the details because it was some years ago. He just remembered the name of Ethan.

Just curious to see if anyone heard from Squeeze Me Constrictors today? I did not and I figured that being a business day that I would of heard from Ethan. I guess he went on vacation after being sick.

I just got word of my money being wired this morning. Two weeks. Still a little late to allow me the money to get any tiger retics right now. I have not heard from Ethan or Brittany since the generic sick letter. Only contact has been through the FBI. I would advise anyone to stay clear of Squeeze Me ConstrictorS!!! I think we can pretty much call this thread the END of them. Let me know if anyone has a pair of tigers they would like to sell.
 
STILL NO WORD OR $$ FROM ETHAN

I received the same form "poor me i was sick" letter on the same day the rest of you did. I sent the Paypal to him on the 30th of Oct................and that was all she wrote. Can we all get together and contact the Feds? Maybe that will get the ball rolling. I am tired of getting ripped off by snake cheats. Thinking of quitting and going back to just my show dogs.

Ethan you need to straighten this out SOON with all of us!!

I understand the anger you must feel at being cheated by someone but please dont think we are all scum...I do know a few DOG people that suck too and I dont think that of all of them...maybe you all can pull together and get all your money back from this person.
Next time be a little more wary...there is an old saying, 'be as wise as a serpent but harmless as a dove.' It helps.

Thanks Jewell, but the bad thing is ......i had dealt with Ethan B4 and it was all ok. Like he was suckering me in for the kill or something........talk about a snake in the grass. I have had to write off several deals with crooked snake folks, but then there are the good ones like Randy Wright , Jeremy Stone and GayLynn my friend, who bend over backwards to help a newbie. Also the nice folks at Ectothermics in Fla. who have helped me tremendously with the Cancuns! I can't say enough nice things about all of them. Why is it 1 or 2 bad apples can spoil the barrel?
I guess i am just too much of an idealist and think that all people are honest and trustworthy............or is that being niave?

Let's hope that Ethan comes to his senses and sees the error of his ways soon.

I believe(have to or what else is there) there are enough of us good snakes in the barrel to eventually do away with most(cant get rid of them all) bad ones that try to spoil the pot.
I agree that it is mostly a few that spoil it for the rest of us but that is the way it has always been, human nature I suppose.
