These beautiful 2023 Sri Lankan stars are now available to new homes. Hatched beginning in early July, they are of varied ages, as is evident by their sizes. All are now established, eat and drinking, and thriving in every way. They clearly display the effort I put into care of my tortoises.
They were incubated at 87-88 degrees, which typically yields a nice mix of females and males.
These hatchlings are the result of many years of selecting and raising the highest quality Sri Lankan Star tortoises that I could locate, from multiple reputable breeders and lineages, assembling the best breeding group I could acquire. I am now able to supply stunning, very healthy, pure Sri Lankan-locality hatchlings to new homes much of the year.
Genetics and quality matter. These hatchlings beautifully display the characteristic Sri Lankan golden skin, great black/yellow shell color contrast, and larger size with adult females around 12” and males around 9” straight length.
Sri Lankan Stars vary from Indian Stars in that they are typically a bit larger, have more bold black/yellow color contrast, and are more valuable due to their higher desirability among keepers world-wide.
These hatchlings are being soaked daily, housed in a humid terrarium, on moist coconut coir and sphagnum moss substrate, under UVB and UVA lighting, with a humid hide den to sleep in. Temperatures range from 75-80 degrees on the cool end where the humid hide is located, to around 100-105 degrees on the warm end under the heat lamp.
They are being fed organically grown grasses, leaves, and mixed greens daily, and softened Mazuri tortoise diet 2-3 times per week. Vitamins and calcium are dusted on their food 2-3 times per week.
Priced at $500 each plus $75 for over night air shipping, including the high quality shipping supplies and heat pack, if appropriate.
Quantity discounts available.
I accept payment by Zelle, Strike, Square, CashApp, Select Cryptocurrencies (BTC, ETH, SOL), or PayPal (plus 3.5% fees on PayPal)

Thank you.
