    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I was just wondering if anyone out there has any imformation about the Standing Day Gecko being on an indangered species list or being protected from trade. I have what i think is a male and would love to be able to get him a mate. Any imformation anyone might have that they would share would be greatly appeciated.
 
I have never heard that they are endangered. In fact I have often seen them for sale or trade at herp shows. Of course this does not necessarily mean thet are not endangered or threatened. You can check on the CITES web site as I just did. If I understood it correctly then all Phelsuma species are listed as Appendix II which: "includes species not necessarily threatened with extinction, but in which trade must be controlled in order to avoid utilization incompatible with their survival" (from CITES site). listed.
