In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Well, this pregnancy has been really kicking my butt. I've been waiting for the second trimester, confident that I'll feel better. That marker came a few weeks ago, and the morning sickness is still showing up now and then along with new aches and pains. I've been doing good over the last few months just making sure my geckos aren't going to starve, but I haven't really played with them for awhile (like I used to).

Today, I decided to stop waiting to feel "normal" and just get back to my life. :wavey: Looking at the baby gecko pics made me see what I was missing...SOOO all the geckos got a good pampering today (even though they were QUITE put off by me messing with them...they're skiddish after not being handled for so long). I also went out and got a hovabator and picked up a copy of Tremper's book. I made myself promise I would not breed them until next season. I have to learn how to take care of a baby AND the geckos I have already before I go making more. :hehe:

You have been warned...it's only a matter of time before I start the flood of photos again!

PS - I felt the baby move for the first time yesterday! :dancer01:

Congrads on making it this far!!! Did you get the hova bator at CHR? We learned about first and second and third trimester in health class, lol i guess it isnt very fun. Well im glad your makin it alon OK, Paul

AAWWW Congratulations. I'm so happy for you. Babies are such a blessing. Every time you feel that little angel move it will drowned out all the morning sickness, aches and pains, and swelling. Wait till he or she gets the hick ups, that's fun.

Yea...they have a ton there right now, and I had store credit to use up!

Marcia - I'm constantly waiting to feel it again, it was very cool.

Shanti, good for you! Sometimes just getting up and doing a bit of the normal routine can be mentally helpful. Also having a baby kick your insides seems to perk up gravid women too. Before long most of the pictures on your camera will be of your baby.

For sure! And you guys thought I took a lot of gecko pictures! Just wait...

Shanti, you are such a very sweet and special person!

I can't wait for more leo and new baby (human baby lol) pics!

You will continue to have good and bad days just as anything else, funny thing is that every pregnancy is so different even for the same mom that it makes me wonder how it is on the leos being gravid!

That's wonderful, Shanti!! Being able to feel them move around really starts to make the whole thing seem more real! Congrats! :) I'm looking forward to more gecko pictures from you - I've missed seeing your updates!

Shanti,
I'd love to say it all goes away...but for some it does and for some it doesn't but that baby will make it all worth it and as already said everytime you feel it move it makes it all go away. You will do just fine with both the baby and the geckos...Its just organization.. I have 3 boys 6 birds 2 geckos(At the moment) and a dog. Its tough But I manage...oh yeah and a full time job...

Shanti, that is so awesome the you felt the baby. Stacie and I were laying together watching TV the other night and the baby kicked me. LOL :hehe:

Take it one day at a time.

I think I heard somewhere that the brain creates a hormone that makes women forget how difficult it is being pregnant. Stacie keeps saying " it wasn't like this the first time" and I say yes, you complained about it the first time too. I think that if women really remembered what the whole experience was like, there would be no more people. :scatter: It is that last push and the sight of finally seeing that little face that makes you forget all the hard times. You'll see, but you won't remember I told you so?? LOL :raspberry

LOL Jeremy!! I can't wait to see your new little boy...the girls are going to be in trouble if he looks anything like his big brother! Tell Stacie "Hi" for me!

I think a man (Dr. Letkey...LOL) just made that up! I remember every pain, discomfort, swelling, etc. It's just that once we hold that baby we don't care. I had a very difficult labor and pregnancy with my first, but as soon as I held her I looked at my husband and said lets have another one.

I'm glad to see your doing alright. Should be fun to see all the baby pictures this year lots of gecko and human babies :). Best of luck, Chris.

Wait until you get a few kicks up through your ribs....LOL There were a few nights where my girlfriend jumped from a seated to a standing position faster than I could, big belly and all....LOL

By the way, I had no idea you were pregnant..... Congratulations!!! Becoming a parent is the greatest thing in the world.....

lol Gregg - That's what happens when you disappear for awhile! It doesn't help that I also disappeared shortly after I found out. I hope everyone is right about it being the best thing ever, cuz I'm not digging the pregnant feeling! At least it'll be over in a few months.

The baby moved again last night during dinner and it almost made me jump because it tickled...I can wait for the rib kicks, those don't sound as fun.

Thats awesome Shanti! I don't have any kids and I probably never will, so, keep the descriptions coming, I love hearing about it!
