    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I doubt my man is the bitch slap kind. He's a Marine afterall ;) But we aren't looking for a fight, least not physical, legal we can deal with. If he is a no show, then court it will be.
 
I will be hopin he shows...8 hours is a long drive to be stood up...Its sad that trash like those people are out there..They must have peanuts for brains to be askin for no hard feelings...The way these people do business,I am surprised they havnt ended up in the gutter...
 
Me too. I seriously hope not. If so, we did look up what's around there. Found a cool pet shop that is worth a look. Lots of exotics....aka, free zoo ;) As annoyed and aggravated as this man made me, I do still try to look at the glass as half full. And will try to at least find the trip fruitful in some way. Just hopefully it will be with us coming home with the snake promised.
 
Well if I were you I would think about takin precautions as well..Maybe like havin your husband get out and do the transaction..Then you could sit in the locked car and have your phone ready to dial 911 incase these people try somthing..God knows they are definetly desperate judging by their scamming sprees..People always talk about how much gang on gang violence there is..They forget about the bad people on good people violence that plages this country even more...
 
Actually, already planned too. The guy makes me so damn angry, I don't plan to talk to him. I already told my hun that I am staying in the car. But as a precaution, yes, certainly agree. I trust him as far as I can throw him.

I think the step we are taking now shows more than enough we want to settle this out of court, but if he doesn't show, then we move forward. I'm gonna make sure I have a receipt from Coral Springs tomorrow too. To show in court that we went all the way down there to settle it.

I know a few people here before said I would be on the losing end. But how can I be if he doesn't show tomorrow with a replacement? We've given him more than enough time, he said they are ready, he already posted them for sale on kingsnake. I am due a replacement and if he refuses to replace then yes, I get a refund!

Send him an e-mail confirming the time, date, and place for the meet, as discussed over the phone. Hopefully, he'll respond and you'll have concrete proof of the agreement. But even if he doesn't respond, you at least have proof that the matter has been discussed.
 
Meant to include make sure you state in the e-mail that the meeting has been discussed on the phone. Mention the time and date of the phone call if you can.
 
He sent me an email this AM. Stating he watches this thread and wanted me to know he wants to apologize, posted the meeting place, etc. So no need :) but it's an excellent suggestion, thanks. Looking forward to putting this behind us

Wow...Him and his ol lady watch this and know they cant even come defend themselves cause they were wrong the whole time...If you have animals,why be scammers that make a bad name for yourselves??..I mean why not attempt to do it right??..Always changing your names,website,and such makes it pretty apparent you guys like being bad people...You guys need to STOP SCAMMING!!!..If animals aint cuttin it,get off your butts and go get jobs...No reason to take hard earned money from people cause you guys cant make none for yourselves without STEALING from others...
 
I am glad people are taking legal action over this. I bough 2 high yellow veiled chameleons last year. They seemed healthy, but as they aged they did not turn out to be high yellows, just thought he could charge me more i guess.
 
Figured I'd chime in here and give Steve a bit of credit where credit is due. I know first hand Steve Screwed up. I'm not going to get into exactly what his case was as it's personal and doesn't really need to come to light unless he wants it to.

I have recieved my first payment from Steve 1 year after our original deal. Steve actually sought ME out to make things right. Believe it or not I go way back with Steve from years ago when I had no idea he was even into reptiles. We were friends at that point for some time. Without making this a really long drawn out story I can honestly say the guy is trying to change. He has contacted a few people besides myself to begin to fix his wrongs. You have got to start somewhere. I believe it's never to late to start over. People can change but you must leave it up to their actions and make your own judgements. I'm sure many or most if you will may or may not purchase from him in the future and that's understandable. Just sit back and see where he takes this. I was taken back by the fact he called me, I had no idea who it was. He has nothing to gain by contacting me and paying me money I was owed. Again I know he has many wrongs to Fix and he has to fix them slowly at a pace he can handle but if you have been wronged I'm sure we will try and work with you.

Going back to the thread above, Steve had one of the finest collections of veiled chameleons I had ever seen believe it or not. I wish I had my D40 back in those days! He had animals that were solid blue, yellow, and orange. I'm talking his veileds were nicer then pretty much anything I could find online. Just because animals are from a blood line doesn't mean they will end up like their parents.

I have seen the pastel ball you will be picking up from Steve I guess today. It appears healthy and as you can see from the pics it's feeding.

I was also drug through the mud, far longer then you were. There maybe people that went through or are still going through this longer then myself but I have chosen to forgive Steve and Karen. I may not give him animals or money up front but that doesn't mean I will never deal with him again.

For someone to admit they have done wrong is not an easy thing for many people. From what I see till now he is also trying to fix his wrongs and turn things around. I'm giving him a chance, we'll see what he does with it.

There are no excuses for what has been done, that is understandable. Just thought I'd throw this out there.
 
He has been keeping in close contact by email and phone all day with me. So I am confident we will settle this today. I am glad he's cleaning up and taking responsibility. He asked me to meet him face to face so he can personally apologize. I don't know what's been going through his head all this time, but it does seem he wants to change and that is good. Eventually maybe he can build his reputation back. I'm sure the bad press hurt him financially. But if he fixes old mistakes he may convince people to use his business. It's too early to say. But I am glad to know and hear he is working at it
 
I got her. Steve met me as promised, he was kind, courteous, and gave me all necessary info on her feeding and she obviously ate recently. She is a pretty girl and I will post pics soon. He did apologize for it all. Like I said in my previous post, I hope he can turn it around for others and himself and get back on track.

The ball he gave me is also active too. She was trying to get out of the cup and as soon as I opened it, she was all over me.

I am overjoyed to have a gorgeous beauty of a ball, but it was a hell of a journey there. But least this BOI is finally resolved.
 
I'm so happy to hear that you, Crystal .. and you, John, have finally received what you were rightfully due in the first place. This is definitely a step in the right direction for the Vito/Lieber pair.

Time will tell ....
