In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

STEVE BROWN INQUIRY

Okay, even myself realized how weird this situation is.  But, like I said, I do not keep messages especially for my herp hobby.  I read and delete, whatever comes I reply.  So, sometimes I do loose track. However, if you are a breeder, you know how often it is that a payment would never show up.  Therefore, the animal becomes available after 2-3 weeks of waiting period.   I've sold many animals over the years online or offline, I've never been labeled as a crook.  And we don't even have a complaint about I rip off people by selling this albino boa, it's just all just opinions about this situation.  That's all I can say.  Maybe I should just sell my animals to large internet sellers like Chen is doing, then I won't have complaints about management in selling.

I am at his house, that's why the ip is the same.  Gosh, the more we explain, the more it gets uglier.  Anyway, this is just sad....   I think until there is victim in the case, I would still be on steve's side.

Also, my email is [email protected], it's a school system account.  You can finger my account using telnet, and verify my name.  Just in case people think I don't even exist...  I hope I do...  LOL...  anyway...

Perhaps you need to explain this

1.  How come you gave Brian your address on Saturday.  You were wanting payment.  But then you realized he was in state....all of a sudden it was sold.

2.  Then Christy e-mailed you on monday.  It was deal pending.  But when you learned she was in DC all of a sudden no contact.

3.  Today it was available to Robert.... you even gave him your address.  But whoopsy...he has a friend that can pass by and check out the animal...all of a sudden no contact.

Do you see the trend yet?

smells like a duck
quacks like a duck
looks like a duck
behave likes a duck
eats like a duck
swims like a duck

but it is really a pig?...............yup makes sense

Okay Steve....since chen says you are a great breeder I will now take lessons from you.

Tell me if I got it right.
1.  Put up an add of an animal I do not have.
2.  If someone close by wants it...tell them it is sold
3.  If someone out of state wants it...give them my address
4.  Delete everyone's e-mail.   that way I have no clue who to send the animal to...  and if I do not know who to send it to...I can then keep the animals that I never had.

Did I get it right

Talk about damaging to your reputation as a seller or breeder.

What people will gather from this thread.  This thread that started out as only an inquiry.

Steve Brown --  I lie and I admit it.  I sell animals I do not have.

Chen Lai--  Lying is okay.  Specially if it helps you sell your animals.  I am in full support of Liers

</span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE"> If a breeder is too nice, he is a fake; if he is too mean, he is a rip off.</td></tr></table><span id='postcolor'>
Chen where did this come from?  When were either of you to nice?  When were either of you mean?  I never said anything about nice or mean...I was only discussing your ever changing stories.

My point was your stories changed as soon as you found out the buyer can inspect the animal WHY

The animals was either sold or you never made contact again as soon as you found out the buyer can inspect the animals  WHY

Hello again.  I don't exactly know who this whole Chen Lai guy is but he was involved in the deal that Steve and I had as well, he was like the contact man or something.

I don't think that either of them is inherently bad, but I did not recieve any sort of compensation.  And while he did offer me a discount on what he breeds, when I inquired on the albino boa he told me he couldn't budge any lower than what it was advertised.

As for sending me the offstpring of the Jungles, I don't recall him ever saying that (he may have) but they could have easily gone this year if you had even tried Steve.

Steve, please settle up with me I have bit my tongue on this subject when others asked as you appear to be a good guy, but until their is some sort of resolution I would not reocommend dealing with Steve Brown of Maryland...
