Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Steve Nigri-Cold Blooded Enclosures, Repti Racks

Has he responded to this at all?

I see him in various social media groups and forums that I am apart of and he is posting enclosures all over the place for sale.
It frustrates me that he seems like this will just go away.
Sorry this happened to you but I am glad you posted it here for others to see.
 
I ordered a repti rack a few years ago, waited 6 months or so for it, and received a broken rack. When I emailed him about it all he had to say was it happens sometimes. Even if not broken, repti racks are the lowest quality I've seen . I used the rack for quarantine enclosures one time for some wc stuff then tossed it in the trash.

I got a hold of him on Facebook-i am not holding my breath that I will get anything out of this but who knows. I ended up asking for screen cages in lieu of the cages orignally ordered which were on his site and i figured that didnt require any lead time in building since they are from a different company. THey were taken off site and told me that he no longer supplies them. I am waiting to hear back after he contacts his supplier to see if they still have them. that was Friday.
If I ever get anythng back for this, then I will post here.
 
to clarify, i asked to use the credit towards something else since i have ordered my cages from other manufacturers already (this order with Steve was placed in August of 2013). I have ordered cages from another supplier and have recieved 3 separate orders of cages already-so there really is no excuse.

Sorry to hear this happened, thanks for sharing your experience as looks like he has time to post ads on Kingsnake.com and I was just about to order his 24 slot hatchling rack.. Glad I checked the BIO

And people are still buying! Doesn't anyone research before buying? I see more negitives than positives with him. I was looking to buy a few cages back a year or two ago,until he got rude an wouldn't answer a simple question. I stuck with boaphile cages even though he too is lacking in manners and customer service,plus his quality lacks sometimes.

Way too many other good cages out there that are one piece,
 
Possible action against Steve Nigri, Cold Blooded Enclosures, Repti Racks

I realize this thread is old and redundant. I have also been through a lengthy process of waiting, damaged goods, more waiting and eventually realization.

Wanted to let those of you who have been taken advantage of by Mr. Nigri that action is being taken.

The following is taking place today and tomorrow:

Filing a civil complaint against the entities with the AG's office
Filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission about the entities
Filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau

Once these have gone through, the entities will have 30 days to comply or will be forced to cease and desist all business activities. If they continue, they will be in violation of federal and state laws.

Under consideration for legal action:

File a civil lawsuit against the entities, should there be enough parties who have lost money with them.

If you have interest in shutting down another criminal enterprise, feel free to take any of the actions above. If a pattern can be shown it then becomes both a criminal and civil action against Steve Nigri, Cold Blooded Enclosures and Repti Racks. Feel free to contact me if you have interest in taking civil action against the entities.
 
Just an additional note, the entity Steve is registered under is Saltwater Exotics, if you are filing with any of the above.
 
Great, I bought some cages I only received one out of three. I ordered in May 2015 . Sent him a email a couple days ago . Just been feeling weird about this . Now I'm here looking this up . I like the cage hope I get the others . He had great communication. Then I left him alone because he said its a hobby one man team . It's been a few months so think it's time to contact . When you are checking out . The disclaimer said it will take sometime so I didnt bother him. I'm very patient until it wasn't worth it .

It took me 6 months to get the rack I ordered. He was always quick to reply when I emailed him, but it was excuse after excuse, "you're up next"..."parts are coming"...blah blah. I did not think 6 months was a reasonable wait time, especially as they always seemed to be posting new racks on their Facebook. I kept waiting though as I believed I'd get it eventually, and really wanted it, but the turnaround was 2-3x longer than originally anticipated.

The bummer is that I love the rack, and could actually use another one. But unless he'll take payment when it's actually ready to ship, I have no desire to wait 6 months again. I have deferred many people from ordering from them for this exact reason as well.
 
Since I get occasional inquiries as to whether this was ever resolved or not-I figured I would post so no one else gets into the same situation I did. I never did get any cages or any further response. I have gotten no further communication from him.
 
This guy is constantly spamming forums on facebook trying to upsell his cages and even tried to sucker me into a trade months ago , i clearly told him he would ship first then i would ship my animals last and he came out with the "he has been in business for over 10 years and he never ships first" good thing i did my homework and asked around about him to find out he isn't a honest person. Hope you get something out of what he owes you Jimmy
 
I am really glad this BOI thread exists as only this morning I was perusing Kingsnake and saw his ads, thought the name rang a bell and looked this thread up

All right just an update because updates are important for the company .
I'm all about being fair and honest .
I have ordered three cages from Cold Blooded . One came in a few weeks after ordering in May 2015. The other 2 cages came in 9/29/15. I got to say I didn't have to fight to receive them . Also when ordering is a disclaimer for the turn around time . I respected it and didn't bug Steve for them . A few emails sent and a month latter I recived the complete order of three cages .
Now that I have the cages I'm extremely happy for the quality light weight cages. Since these came in at different times . I was concerned about them being all identical . Shot Steve my thoughts and pictures of the cage. They all came in identical . I put them on a baking rack for display . They all fit perfect how I envisioned .
I would love to order more cages . But damn the turn around was a killer .
I think it's all about respect and how you talk to someone .
