• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

As I look at the BOI, it's pretty sad that there are so many "Bad Guy" posts. I guess it's a sad fact that if there's money involved in a situation, people will try to cheat.

Soooo......I thought I'd put my two cents in on a guy who is one of the better people I've dealt with in my 40 years on the hobby.

I know Steve Osborne is one of the better known breeders in the US, but I just got a baby Gila from him, and it couldn't have gone better if I bought it from my own brother.
First, the Gila is amazing. Huge, gorgeous, eats great, super healthy, and if he grows up to look anything like his parents, he could be a movie star.
Second, there was a partial trade involved, and I screwed my end up twice. Nothing to get too crazy about, but through the whole transaction, Steve was the complete gentleman, never complaining, just cool calm and breezy.

If anyone ever sees and likes an animal Steve is selling, don't hesitate for a moment. I'd do business again with Pro Breeders in a heartbeat.

Steve Osborne of Pro Breeders is a really good guy, one of the best. I buy gila's from all the rep. breeders and I was really impressed with steve and the way he handles himself. If there is ever a time you see something steve has that you want, jump on it. His animals never last long on the market. Steve you are great and I cant wait to grab some more gila babys from you. talk to you soon.
