• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Hello all, just wanted to toss my .02 in about this guy.

Met up with Mr. Raymond at a reptile show a month or so ago. I was at the wrong show at the wrong time because I was in the wrong place. I was looking for Retics in this case, and was somewhere the new laws wouldn't allow them.

Needless to say, I was furious. I still ended up buying a spiderling or two, but I met up with a couple of my Leopard Gecko friends there, and was just sharing my crappy luck story with them. From several feet away, Mr. Raymond, on his way out, heard me mention Reticulated pythons, and came over to get involved with the conversation.

He introduced himself and mentioned that this was the wrong show for those snakes indeed; but I was mostly here to test the waters. See what I was looking at financially to get into some cool morphs.

He was polite, professional, and very cool. He mentioned several morphs I hadn't even heard of, but I took his information, and kept in touch with him.

He has proven to be an invaluable resource for someone like me, and I truly appreciate his level of customer service. He worked out an amazing deal with me on two animals, and dealt with my financial situation like a pro. I made a few payments we worked out through email, and I just picked them up today.

All of his pictures were accurate, and amazing. They are wonderful snakes at a great deal. I work for a major Pet company (lolz) and deal with bad vendors more often than I care to admit. If my company dealt with people like Mr. Raymond, the quality of our inventory would be unparalleled.

So this is just a huge shoutout to Mr. Raymond, and a huge boon to my snake collection. I will be doing business with him again, because this kind of customer service cannot be found at just any reptile show. He took his time, on his way out, to engage me on the topic no one else there would even really talk to me about. He made the show worth the trip for me, since I was out of state for this show.

Thanks again, Steve, I truly appreciate it!

No problem! You were fantastic as a buyer and made quick payments on time, and most importantly, kept your word! I'm glad to have gone to OR to meet a fellow WA resident, and when I heard you talking about retics, and had experience with large snakes, I knew I had to say hello and talk with you. Take care and I will see you soon again, as I know you want some more animals and caging. Thanks for the compliments as well. Sometimes people don't communicate well and your communication and honesty was fantastic! I wish everyone would communicate and be honest - it would make the cold-blooded industry warmer :)
Steve
