In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I had the pleasure of working with Steven for my first purchase from BBD. We had been exchanging calls back and forth all week, he was very patient and answered all of my questions. Basically, I couldn't make up my mind on what dragons I wanted to purchase, and who could blame me? Look at the quality of animals they have available. I have finally chosen my four trans, I can't wait to receive them next week! It was a pleasure doing business with BBD, everything I had heard and read about BBD is exactly what I got, quality service and animals. Thank you, Steven, for what I hope is the first of many more purchases in the near future, cheers.

My very first trans from them was amazing! All my bbd were amazing. My stud males first clutch is hatching out today. Can't wait for all 22 to come out! Thanks everyone at bbd! I'm going to buy a new female shortly.

i had a bad transaction with blood bank. hope you dont have complaint or problem, then lets see how much you like them..

Why are you calling me a liar? I placed an order of a red trans male that was to be shipped Thursday for friday arrival but Steve missed the shipping day and called me up to discuss the options. We settled on a Saturday arrival and he apologized and asked if he could send a leatherback as an additional apology. I've never had any problems. So believe me or not it doesn't change the fact that I did receive an extra dragon for free.

I KNOW SHES BEING HONEST, ITS WHAT THEY DO, EVERYBODY MAKES A MISTAKE NOW AND THEN AND THEY ARE VERY BUSY AND VERY PROFESSIONAL, IF YOU WERE BREEDING THAT MANY WOULDNT YOU DO THE SAME, NOT COOL ON TRYING TO CALL SOMEBODY A LIAR.

I purchased some dragons from Bloodbank Dragons and got to meet Steven personally, he is a very nice guy. The condition of the animals I received reached far and beyond what I expected, the pictures looked almost too good so I was a bit skeptical, the animals turned out amazing. That's not the best part; Steven stands behind his animals 100% and without question (after lots and lots of advice) has replaced some from mistakes that most likely happened on my part. Steven's facilities are spotless and his animals are always fat and colorful. Steven always finds the time to answer my calls and patiently walk me through any situation that I am in.

I am obviously a huge fan of Bloodbank and I doubt that if you have unresolved issues the problem was with them. I feel lucky to live 45 minutes away and know Steven.

Below is a link to a thread started by Paul Miller regarding Bloodbank Dragons. It deserves a read before anybody makes an assumption about Bloodbank Dragons based on Millers review.

Bloodbank has the best customer service hands down. I understand having a problem from time to time with a dragon but they more than compensated for the problems. My friend purchased a sub-adult leatherback and I purchased a baby leatherback. I have had no problems with mine at all, but his a different story. When he received it had mites on it(still not sure where they came from) but he constantly soaked and prevent a mited for about 3 weeks. He informed bloodbank of the situation and they said he could ship back and get full refund. But with all of the work he had done nursing it back to health he wanted to keep it. In the end the sub-adult is doing great now, and for all the troubles they shipped out 2 free leatherbacks at no charge. Now that is how it should work..........thanks bloodbank

Me personally have been using kingsnake for a while like I mentioned in the beginning, just because I am new here has nothing to do with my perticular experience with bloodbank. So if I were a long time member it would be different?

I have purchased 6 dragons from bloodbank over a period of time. They were all some of their best and most expensive dragons bloodbank offers. The dealings that i had were exceptional and even now a year later when i have had questions about breeding, hatchlings, etc i get answers pretty much right away. I know they stand behind everything they sell and i find it hard to believe that there was a problem that they did not try and fix.

In business, you cannot please everyone all the time, but perhaps if someone feels they were not taken care of, maybe they want to contact bloodbank and talk to them.

Received my dragons today, beyond amazing! Steven, said I'd be surprised, if by surprised he meant, polar trans, and the red trans male, I was shocked! Above and beyond what I expected, thank you, Steven. Look forward to settling them in before I take pics. Steven, went above and beyond for me, his service and time that he gave me was top notch, the animals I received were beyond what I had imagined. Next month, I can't wait to see what you pick for the red trans male you sent, thank you just doesn't seem good enough, but thank you, Steven.

I just purchased my 7th dragon from BBD and she has yet to arrive but I figured I would hop on here and share my experience with them!

My first purchase was made about 2 years ago. I bought a hypo and translucent pair, both babies. I was up all night so when they arrived I was asleep and my fiance put them in one of the tanks with our adult dragon and you could all guess what happened next. He woke me up and told me that they were both eaten and I called BBD at the brink of crying and I spoke with Kisa. She had nothing but total sympathy for me. Hell it felt like I could cry on her shoulder and she was practically a stranger!

After all of that, we worked out another transaction. I didn't expect to get my money back or anything. When I picked my next two dragons out I talked to Steven and he gave me an incredible discount even though it was our fault! He gave us free shipping and nearly half off both of the dragons! The two dragons that arrived were very healthy and thriving and this time they were arranged with their own safe vivs.

The last two dragons I purchased were way above my expectations. One of them (red translucent) arrived in partial shed and I couldn't believe the colors she had on her. They were both very lively and ate the same day they arrived when I offered them their greens and crickets!

They're all great to do business with. Steven, Barry and even Kisa! :)

I hope this helps all of you thinking about buying from BBD!

Sounds like Bloodbank has some very happy customers. They sell some beautiful dragons. To all of you that have posted and have relationships with BBD, maybe you can shed some light on a question I have. Do you know the parents of the dragons you purchased? I see on here and have talked to several people that are breeding the dragons they purchased from Bloodbank. My concern is for the hobby. We all know that direct crosses from mutual ancestors for a generation or two is not advisable. I have asked this direct question to BBD in one of their postings recently when I had interest in one of their dragons. The answer I received back didn't satisfy my concern regarding the genetic makeup of the dragons they were selling and thus I didnt make a purchase. It wasnt like I was buying a wholesale lot of dragons, I was wanting to purchase a future breeder.

Someone recently wanted to sell me a dragon they had purchased from BBD. They didnt know anything about the genetic makeup and they even got a little defensive when I asked. Their comment back to me was "How could BBD possibly keep up with all of the dragons they produce"? My response to that is it's not that hard to do if you know who the parents are. Nothing a little organization and an inventory tracking software package couldnt handle.

Here's to the longevity of the hobby we all love!

Let us know if you have any questions....parents, genetics...etc. We don't photograph the parents but are happy to tell you anything you want to know :)

^Part of an email received from Kisa this morning after they shipped my dragon out. Hope it helps. I can post the whole email if any of you are skeptical. :3

I must say though that the first couple dragons I bought from them were intended to be pets and they are now after a year of breeding and local sales. I never bothered to ask about genetics nor was I told them but I'm sure if you ask them directly (like the person that wanted to sell you the dragon should have) they would give you an info you needed. If all you need is a photo and name of the parents then there's not much I can say...my thought is that they just have too many breeders to photograph.

I just received my first order from BBD in about a year and I thought I would post some pics of the packaging and my two new healthy dragons! I could only get a few pictures before my camera died haha. There was one change they did with their packaging since I last purchased from them, they're using reptile bags! I used to get my dragons in a tupper ware container lined with paper towel lol. I like these bags. :)

Inside the bag they had paper towel to keep them comfy and warm. :)

And here's all of the packaging together since I didn't get a pic of the top insulation with the heat pack attached.

At first I thought they sent me the wrong hypotrans but look at her tail! She's shedding! :)

Thanks BBD! I'm already looking through your ads to buy the next dragon! Haha.

Beautiful dragons, Nichole! I was very impressed with the packaging. The critters arrived safely and have acclimated to their new homes. I've been browsing BBD's website and their classifieds myself, looking to purchase some more. Congrats on your lil' poopers, Cheers.
