• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

    Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days
    Sponsors - Eliminated
    Benefactor level members - $25 per 30 days
    Endowment level members - $50 per 30 days

    On July 1, 2027, all paid memberships will be closed.

    On August 1, 2027, FaunaClassifieds will be terminated.

    Only change I expect that might take place is when I can get around to figuring out when the amount of money I would have to refund for the yearly paid memberships becomes less than the monthly expense of leasing my server, THAT date might be the termination date for the site.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Anyone else having problems getting or staying logged into this site today? Seems that when I go to the main page, I am logged out, but clicking on the "Log in" link does nothing. Just keeps me logged out with no recourse. But if I click on a thread or category, I get taken there and am then logged in. Sometimes...

On my other sites I am logged out, and when I try to log in it tells me that my password is invalid. Which it is not. So I try to reset my password and it then tells me that my email address is invalid.

Has anyone considered what it would be like to be completely run by AI computers that are insane?
 
I reported this problem to the server guys and they say that they made some changes. So we will just have to see whether this problem has gone away or not.
