    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

My beardie has really dark, sometimes light stress marks in the shape of circles. What can I do to make him feel more at home. I also have had him for almost 2 weeks

Tom and I explained on the other thread that he may be stressed due to his BIG new environment. Can you take a photo of his enclosure and post it here?

It is a 40 gallon breeder. 100watt exoterra bulb, basking spot (101), 10.0 strip bulb, and a regual incandescent light bulb for extra light. cool side is at 80-85. He has been all over the tank, knows exactly where his veggie dish is, and has stood in his water bowl a few times... even pooped in it once. The plaid is not the background to the tank it is my wallpaper (how cool is that) i want to cover the 3 sides of the tank like i was told.

yeah its sweet isnt it lol but do you have any suggestions for me or anything? i dont really understand why he has these marks. He seems happy to me. And not hungry. and he is really active..

Put your paper inside the tank, it will stop the reflection he is seeing. Also try moving all bright light to one side of the habitat so he can retreat to shade, and get him closer to the uvb bulb. With the screen in between you are loosing a good amount of uv penetration. Hope this helps out.
