    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Stripe vs. Jungle

Aliza,

I would call the one on the right in your pic a Stripe. I'm sure there are some who disagree with me, but that's my opinion on it. It's quite nice too! :)

I'm on the jungle bandwagon.....but I'm VERY picky about my stripes...lol. For me, just to be a partial stripe it need to run into the neck band. To be a full stripe, I want to see a fully striped body AND tail (I don't count the spot at the hips, that's very very common). I told you I was picky!

My 2 cents

For me a jungle has to have at a minimum aberrant body markings with broken tail bands. A broken neck band is icing on the cake. For stripes I like to see defined symmetrical spotting or solid lines on the body with a similar tail configuration. Again I feel the broken neck band is the icing.

I tend to call a baby such as yours a jungle/stripe at this stage and then wait to see what happens in the next few weeks when those bands change.

Also I try to keep images of the parents so a person can see what they look like, or at the very least do exactly like you did in your first post by listing the parent morphs lines. This for me explains the the possibilities both those geckos have for future possible breeding even though they look different.

Good Job!
Joyce

Thanks for your input. I think I'll go with STRIPE/(jungle) right now and see how it develops. I have another 4 eggs from this pairing in the incubator and 2 in the gecko, so I hope I'll get a nice range.
